Mount Vernon Car Shipping Where the Bronx Ends

Ship A Car, Inc. arranges door-to-door vehicle transport for Mount Vernon, the four-square-mile city against the Bronx border that packs a full city into one of the densest places in the state, where I-95 runs the truck-legal edge, the Cross County and Hutchinson River parkways thread the edges and ban every truck, two Metro-North lines reach Grand Central in half an hour, and the rowhouses and apartment towers of the south side give way to the north side’s streets of houses. Your car travels with a carrier that holds a license and insurance and that we vetted before it was ever assigned.

The Cross County and Hutchinson River parkways are closed to trucks, so the carrier comes in on I-95, and a commercial lot on Sandford Boulevard near I-95 or a wide stretch of Gramatan Avenue gives a 75-foot rig room to load a minute off the highway. The houses on the north side can usually be reached at the curb; the rowhouse and apartment blocks of the south side meet it on Sandford Boulevard or at the lot by I-95 instead, at a spot agreed when you book. We arrange cars sent to family in the South, cars for sons and daughters who moved to the Carolinas, and weekend cars for commuters who ride Metro-North during the week, and anyone named on the order with an ID can meet the driver.
