A qualified driver collects your vehicle, drives it to the destination under its own power, and hands it over. There is no trailer, no loading equipment and no height or width permit, because the unit travels exactly as it would if you drove it yourself. It is the standard way large drivable equipment moves when the miles matter less than the cost of specialized transport.

The same motorhome on a flatbed runs roughly two to four, and a commercial truck or bus on a lowboy can reach five to ten because it commits specialized equipment and often permits. On lanes where a specialized trailer is scarce, driveaway can be the difference between this week and next month.
