On the Kentucky numbers: they are middle-of-the-market bands for standard sedans on open carriers from Kentucky lanes booked since 2023, as of September 2026, and season, fuel, corridor, and vehicle size all move them. What the calculator shows is what we book, and it holds firm until the carrier is dispatched.
Inside the Triangle
Kentucky’s shipping geometry is a triangle drawn by three national lanes: I-65 south from Louisville through Elizabethtown and Bowling Green, I-75 from Cincinnati through Lexington toward Knoxville, and I-64 crossing from Ashland to the river. Most of the state’s people, and nearly all of its daily carrier traffic, live inside or along that triangle, which is why Louisville and Lexington quotes come back sharp. The parkway system extends honest coverage west; the eastern mountains ask for a planned last mile.
