Frankfort Car Shipping in the Capital on the River Bend

Ship A Car, Inc. arranges door-to-door vehicle transport for Frankfort, the state capital in the bend of the Kentucky River between Louisville and Lexington, where the capitol dome stands on the south bank, the state offices set the hiring calendar, the old downtown sits under the bluffs on the north bank, the distilleries line the river valley, the hill streets climb out of the valley on both sides, and I-64 runs along the top of the bluffs south of town. Any carrier we put on a capital-city order holds a license and insurance we have verified and has cleared our vetting first.

Pickups in Frankfort start at I-64, which runs along the bluffs south of town between Louisville and Lexington. Lots along US-127 near the interstate and along Versailles Road leave a long rig room to turn, and the grids on the flats let the truck reach the door. A hill street climbing out of the river valley meets the driver at the bottom, and the narrow downtown blocks under the bluff hand off on Broadway or at a US-127 lot, all settled when you book. We handle cars for new state employees with a start date, families moving in for state jobs, and retirees settling in the river town. Ice on the valley hills from December to February can delay a pickup, so winter dates are set with a margin.
