Door-to-door Burke car shipping off the Fairfax County Parkway, with PCS and deployment moves planned and Old Keene Mill Road meeting points for townhouse courts.
Ship A Car, Inc. arranges door-to-door vehicle transport for Burke, the Fairfax County community where the Fairfax County Parkway and Braddock Road carry the commute, the VRE stops at Burke Centre and Rolling Road, Burke Lake fills the park on the south side, the Pentagon and Fort Belvoir are each half an hour, and the townhouse clusters and cul-de-sacs of the 1970s and 80s hold a quiet commuter population with many federal workers. The carrier that hauls your car is licensed and insured, and we vet the company before giving it the job.
The Fairfax County Parkway connects Burke with I-95 near Springfield and I-66 at Fair Lakes, so carriers on the Washington routes reach the shopping-center lots near the Parkway and on Old Keene Mill Road without a detour, and those lots have room for a 75-foot rig. The neighborhoods are another matter: townhouse clusters park in tight courts, the cul-de-sacs curve under old trees, and homeowners associations frown on a rig at the curb, so cars here usually meet the truck at one of those lots, agreed at booking and minutes from the door. We plan military and federal transfers around the report date, and we also ship cars to family during a deployment and bring them back afterward.

If the move goes beyond Fairfax County, our guide to shipping a car in Virginia covers the statewide routes, the seasons and the prices.
Report dates at the Pentagon, Belvoir, and the agencies get a pickup window worked backward from the day, with a Burke Centre hand-off agreed at booking.
Townhouse courts and tree-lined loops get a Burke Centre or Parkway meeting point, fixed when you book and minutes from the door.
Put the route, the vehicle and your report date into the quote calculator and it emails an estimate for the Burke move, then a specialist calls to confirm it. A single coordinator then stays with the order until the delivery inspection is signed, even if the orders change along the way.
Burke reaches I-95 and I-66 by the Fairfax County Parkway, inside the Washington market. Five things move your number:
Burke cars usually change hands at a shopping-center lot near the Parkway or on Old Keene Mill Road, minutes from the townhouse courts and cul-de-sacs. One row is our own lane, in one direction since 2023: Los Angeles, the middle half of our California to Virginia open-carrier orders, for a car arriving. For Philadelphia, Columbus, Jacksonville and San Antonio the table uses distance bands, built from what customers paid for trips of similar length that we booked between September 2025 and August 2026.
Each range is for a sedan on an open trailer; a three-row SUV, a heavy EV or a non-running car costs more, and enclosed transport adds about a third. To price your own Burke move, open the quote calculator or call (866) 821-4555. No deposit is taken until a carrier is assigned to your move.
The county park’s lake and miniature railroad anchor the south side.
Commuter rail runs from Burke Centre and Rolling Road to Union Station.
The Pentagon and Fort Belvoir are each about half an hour.
Burke was the first site chosen for what became Dulles.
Please note: Los Angeles is priced from our own open-carrier orders since 2023 in the direction its row runs, California to Virginia. Philadelphia, Columbus, Jacksonville and San Antonio reflect moves of similar distance that customers booked with us from September 2025 to August 2026, and the price we book for Burke is the one a specialist confirms after your emailed estimate.
