The Mizner Blueprint Still Rules
Boca Raton’s look was set in the 1920s, when architect Addison Mizner laid out a resort town of pink stucco, barrel tile, and grand boulevards. The city has protected that image ever since with some of the strictest appearance and signage codes in Florida. For movers the practical effect is pleasant: corridors are wide, landscaping is maintained, and the plazas that anchor Glades Road and Federal Highway make easy, legal meeting points for a big rig.
