Door-to-door Westerly car shipping at exit 1 on I-95, with the season car booked both ways, beach cottages met on Route 1, and Pawcatuck pickups across the river.
Ship A Car, Inc. arranges door-to-door vehicle transport for Westerly, the town in the southwest corner of the state, where I-95 crosses into Connecticut at exit 1, the Pawcatuck River is the state line with the Connecticut village across the bridge from downtown, granite from the hills north of town went into monuments across the country, the beaches at Misquamicut and Watch Hill and Weekapaug fill from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and the train stops downtown. Whether it loads at exit 1 or near the beaches, the car is carried by a licensed, insured company we check before the assignment.
I-95 crosses into Connecticut at exit 1, and the lots along Route 3 at the exit, on Franklin Street at the Route 1 plaza, or on Post Road toward the beaches give a 75-foot rig room to load a minute off the ramp. The grid streets take the truck to the door; a beach cottage street on the sand meets it on Route 1 or Atlantic Avenue, and a downtown block on the river meets it on Canal Street, agreed when you book, with summer beach traffic on Route 1 setting the hour. We ship for summer households bringing a car for the season, retirees who stayed on after the summers, hospital hires with a start date, and Pawcatuck households across the river. A winter storm on the shore can push a pickup back, and we plan for it.

Statewide routes, seasonal timing and prices for the rest of Rhode Island, up I-95 from exit 1, are in our Rhode Island car shipping guide.
A summer household ships a car up in May and back in September, and the same coordinator books both legs with the delivery timed to the weekend you arrive.
Dispatch treats Westerly and the Connecticut village across the river as one I-95 market, and the lot is whichever is closest to you, on either side of the bridge.
Put the route, the car and your dates into the quote calculator and an estimate comes by email, for one leg or the season’s round trip, before a specialist calls to confirm the price. A single coordinator follows a Westerly order from the quote through the delivery inspection.
Westerly prices on I-95 at exit 1, between New York and Boston. Five things move your number:
Westerly cars load at the Route 3 lots by exit 1, at the Franklin Street plaza, or on Post Road toward the beaches, and cottage streets meet the truck on Route 1. Boston, Baltimore, Orlando, Houston and Los Angeles are priced by distance, from what customers paid for moves of similar length in our bookings from September 2025 to August 2026.
Each range plans for a sedan on an open trailer from the exit 1 lots: a pickup, a heavy EV, a big SUV or a car that does not run costs more, and enclosed adds about a third. For your own Westerly price, one leg or a seasonal round trip, use the quote calculator or call (866) 821-4555. No deposit is taken until a carrier is assigned to your move.
I-95 crosses into Connecticut here, on the carriers’ route between New York and Boston.
The Pawcatuck is the state line, and dispatch treats both banks as one market.
Misquamicut, Watch Hill and Weekapaug fill with summer people, and their cottage streets meet the truck on Route 1.
Granite from the quarries north of town went into monuments across the country, and the old quarries are still there.
Please note: The Westerly rows for Boston, Baltimore, Orlando, Houston and Los Angeles are distance bands rather than lanes of our own, drawn from what customers paid for trips of similar length from September 2025 to August 2026. Season, fuel and the vehicle move the real price of a beach-town pickup, and a specialist confirms that price by phone after the calculator emails an estimate.
