Tiverton Car Shipping on the Hill Above the Sakonnet

Ship A Car, Inc. arranges door-to-door vehicle transport for Tiverton, the town on the east shore of the Sakonnet River, where Route 24 comes down from Fall River and crosses the bridge to the island, Main Road climbs the hill above the water past the old houses, the casino sits at the state line on Route 24, the stone-walled farms run south down Route 77 through Four Corners toward Little Compton, the Massachusetts line is the north edge of town, and Providence is half an hour away by way of I-195. Whether it loads by the bridge or out past Four Corners, the car rides with a licensed, insured carrier we vet before the assignment is made.

Route 24 brings carriers down from I-195 at Fall River in about ten minutes, and the lots along Route 24 at the Stafford Road exit, at the Main Road plaza by the bridge and on Route 177 at Bulgarmarsh have room for a 75-foot rig. A loaded truck stays off the hill streets above the river and the farm lanes to the south: a hill address meets it below on Main Road, and a Four Corners lane with a soft shoulder meets it at the pavement on Route 77, both agreed at booking, while the grid streets get the truck at the door. We handle cars for families moving in from Fall River and Providence, retirees drawn to the farms, households just over the line in Massachusetts, and shore owners who hand off at the plaza. Winter storms off the water can delay a pickup, and the coordinator keeps you posted.

Speak with a coordinator now at (866) 821-4555 for pickup at any address in Tiverton, Four Corners, Little Compton, Portsmouth, or across the line in Fall River, or request an estimate by email through the quote calculator.
