St. Johnsbury Car Shipping in the Northeast Kingdom Where I-93 Ends

Ship A Car, Inc. arranges door-to-door vehicle transport for St. Johnsbury, the Northeast Kingdom town where I-93 comes up from Boston and ends at I-91, the museum and the library with its painting stand on the ridge along Main Street, the railroad and the shops sit below on the flat, the maple company works out on US-2 east of downtown, the regional hospital serves the surrounding towns, the lakes and the ski mountain to the north fill the hills with camps, and winter arrives early and stays. Whichever carrier comes up I-91 or I-93 for your car is licensed and insured, and we vet it before the job is assigned.

Two interstates meet at the edge of town, so carriers running between Boston and the north can reach St. Johnsbury with only a short stretch off the highway. The lots along Memorial Drive, on Railroad Street down on the flat and on US-2 at the west end give a 75-foot rig room to load near the ramps, but a rig that size cannot climb the cross streets from the flat to the ridge. Houses on the flat grids get the truck at the door; a Main Street address on the ridge meets it at the top on US-2 or below on Railroad Street, a lake camp meets it in town because the rig cannot run the camp roads, and a dirt road meets it at the pavement, with the spot agreed at booking. Hospital hires, camp owners, retirees who came to the Kingdom for good, and families sending a car to a son or daughter who moved away are among the moves we handle.
