York Car Shipping

For a sedan on an open carrier, figure $350 to $550 to or from Washington, DC, $550 to $850 to or from Columbus, $950 to $1,300 to or from Minneapolis, $900 to $1,100 to Miami, and $1,450 to $1,650 to San Francisco. The Miami and San Francisco bands are one-way rows for cars leaving the state, drawn from our own Pennsylvania to Florida and Pennsylvania to California open-carrier orders since 2023, while the other three reflect York moves of similar length booked between September 2025 and August 2026.

After loading, Washington is a day away, Columbus 1-2 days, Minneapolis 2-3, Miami 3-4 and San Francisco 5-7. A York pickup usually comes one to three days after your first available date, with I-83 and Route 30 meeting on the north side of the city.

In Springettsbury, West Manchester, and York Township, usually yes. In the city grid, no; the rowhouse streets and alleys do not take a 75-foot trailer. We meet at a Route 30 lot or along Mount Rose Avenue, a few minutes from the door.

Not by a margin worth planning around. The distance rows here change with the length of the trip, and an hour’s drive is a small part of a long one, so we deliver wherever it is easier for you to meet the truck. The calculator will price both addresses if you want to compare.

For ten days each July the fairgrounds traffic jams Carlisle Avenue and the west side, so we schedule pickups for mornings and use the Route 30 lots on the east side those days. The rest of the year the fairgrounds are a quiet meeting point in their own right.
