Upper Darby Car Shipping

For a sedan on an open carrier, plan on $350 to $550 to or from New York, $550 to $850 to or from Raleigh, $950 to $1,300 to or from Minneapolis, $1,450 to $1,800 to or from Las Vegas, and $1,000 to $1,400 from Jacksonville. That last band is northbound only, the middle half of our own Florida to Pennsylvania open-carrier orders since 2023, while the other four reflect Upper Darby moves of similar length booked between September 2025 and August 2026.

Once the car is loaded, New York is a day out, Raleigh 1-2 days, Jacksonville 2-3, Minneapolis 3-4 and Las Vegas 5-7. Upper Darby pickups generally fall one to three days after your first available date, with West Chester Pike and Baltimore Pike giving the truck an easy way in.

No. The blocks are too narrow with cars on both curbs, and there is nowhere to turn a 75-foot rig around. We agree a spot in a shopping-center lot on West Chester Pike or Lansdowne Avenue, or on a wide stretch of Garrett Road or Township Line Road, usually within a five-minute walk or drive of your door.

Yes. We arrange the pickup with the seller or the dealer, the driver inspects and photographs the car when it loads, and you meet the truck at the agreed lot with your paperwork. If the car does not run, say so when you book, because it needs a winch-equipped carrier and we want the first quote to be the right one.

Ten days ahead works for most of the year. Summer, when household moves peak, and the late-August student weeks call for two to three weeks of notice, and a nor’easter between December and March can hold a pickup for a day, so leave one flexible day in the plan.
