Scranton Car Shipping in the Electric City Where I-81 Meets I-84

Ship A Car, Inc. arranges door-to-door vehicle transport for Scranton, the city in the Lackawanna Valley where I-81, I-84, I-380, and the Turnpike’s northeast extension all meet, the coal fortune built the courthouse square and the mansions of the Hill Section, two universities fill the Hill and Green Ridge, the old rail yards became a park, the hills climb out of the valley on every side, and the Poconos begin half an hour south down I-380. We place your car only with a licensed, insured carrier that has passed our vetting, whether it comes down I-81, I-84 or I-380 to reach you.

Four highways come together around the city, which puts a car carrier close to the lots at the Davis Street exit of I-81, along Montage Mountain Road, or on Keyser Avenue by the Turnpike, each a minute or so off the ramp. Houses on the valley floor usually get the truck at the door; a steep drive in the Hill Section meets it at the bottom of the hill, and a Pocono cabin meets it at a Scranton lot, because a loaded rig does not climb the mountain roads, with the spot agreed at booking. We move cars for students starting at the two universities in August, new hires at the hospitals and warehouses, retirees settling on the Hill, and Pocono second-home owners, and from December to March a storm on I-81 can add a day to the plan.
