Door-to-door East Honolulu car shipping on the sailing schedule, with gated ridge streets met on Kalanianaole Highway and collector cars planned for the ship.
Ship A Car, Inc. arranges door-to-door vehicle transport for East Honolulu, the stretch of the south shore past Diamond Head where Kalanianaole Highway runs the coast from Kahala to Hawaii Kai, the valleys of Aina Haina and Niu climb into the Koolau, the ridge neighborhoods sit behind gates high above the highway, the marina fills Hawaii Kai with boats and bridges, and Hanauma Bay ends the road. Your car rides with a licensed, insured carrier to the port and a sailing we book before pickup.
East Honolulu sits twenty minutes from the harbor on H-1 and Kalanianaole, and its car shipping runs on the sailing schedule with the island leg planned around the terrain. A mainland carrier delivers the car to the terminal at Long Beach or Oakland, a ship sails weekly, and on Oahu a local carrier brings it from the harbor to the door or you collect it there. Retirees coming home to Kahala and Hawaii Kai, second-home owners from the mainland, and collector cars riding enclosed to the mainland leg are the shipments we see most. The flat streets of Kahala and Hawaii Kai take the island truck to the door; the ridge neighborhoods behind gates and the valley streets that climb meet it at the bottom on Kalanianaole, agreed at booking, and a Pacific storm can slip a sailing by a few days, so every window carries that flex up front.

A gated ridge neighborhood or a climbing valley street gets a Kalanianaole meeting point fixed when you book, so the island truck never has to back down a grade.
Kahala garages hold serious cars; the mainland leg can ride enclosed with a liftgate, and the ship carries every car below deck.
Enter your lane, vehicle, and dates in the quote calculator for an emailed Oahu estimate, and a specialist calls to confirm the final price. One coordinator handles the move from booking to the delivery inspection.
East Honolulu prices off the sailing schedule plus the island leg from the harbor. Five things move your number:
The price question comes first on every East Honolulu call. Hawaii books enough orders on each of these lanes for a reliable middle, so the bands below are standard-sedan lanes between the California port cities and Hawaii that we have booked since 2023, open carrier to the terminal and a booked sailing across, shown as the middle of the market rather than the cheapest or the most expensive order. The transit column is the sailing; port processing adds a few days on each end.
Planning figures, not a quote. Enclosed on the mainland leg adds about a third, summer firms every sailing, and a pickup or a non-running car prices above a sedan. For your East Honolulu route, request an estimate in the quote calculator or call (866) 821-4555. No deposit is taken until a carrier is assigned to your move.
The highway runs the coast from Kahala to Hanauma Bay, and the island truck meets the valleys on it.
Hawaii Kai fills its canals with boats and its streets with bridges.
The neighborhoods above the highway sit behind gates the carrier does not pass.
The crater marks where Waikiki ends and East Honolulu begins.
Please note: Estimates on this page are middle-of-the-market bands for standard sedans from Hawaii lanes booked since 2023, open carrier to the port and a booked sailing across. Season, fuel, route, and vehicle move the real number; a specialist confirms it once the calculator has emailed your Oahu estimate.
