Door-to-door Kailua car shipping over the Pali on the windward side, with a gate-side lot on Mokapu Boulevard for base families and Lanikai cars met in town.
Ship A Car, Inc. arranges door-to-door vehicle transport for Kailua, the windward town where the Pali Highway and H-3 come through the mountains from Honolulu, the beach runs its white curve from the boat ramp to Lanikai, the one-lane loop through Lanikai is closed to anything bigger than a delivery van, the marine base sits on the peninsula next door with its gate on Mokapu Boulevard, the town center keeps its low buildings on Kailua Road, and the rain comes over the Koolau most afternoons. Your car rides with a licensed, insured carrier to the port and a sailing we book before pickup.
Kailua sits thirty minutes from Honolulu Harbor over the Pali, and its car shipping runs on the sailing schedule with the windward roads planned around. A mainland carrier delivers the car to the terminal at Long Beach or Oakland, a ship sails weekly, and on Oahu a local carrier brings it from the harbor over the mountain to the door or you collect it there. Base households shipping the second car around a report date, families moving in for the beach and the schools, and retirees coming home to the windward side are the shipments we see most. The grids take the island truck to the door; base households meet it at a lot outside the gate on Mokapu Boulevard, because carriers never enter the installation, the Lanikai loop and the beach lanes meet it on Kailua Road, agreed at booking, and a Pacific storm can slip a sailing by a few days, so every window carries that flex up front.

Base households get a sailing chosen backward from the report date, and a gate-side lot on Mokapu Boulevard, because carriers never enter the installation.
The one-lane loop and the beach lanes do not fit a loaded truck, so those addresses get a Kailua Road meeting point fixed when you book.
Enter your lane, vehicle, and dates in the quote calculator, and a Kailua estimate is emailed before a specialist calls with the final price. One coordinator handles the move from booking to the delivery inspection.
Kailua prices off the sailing schedule plus the island leg over the Pali. Five things move your number:
Price is the first question on every Kailua call. Hawaii books enough orders on each of these lanes for a reliable middle, so the bands below are standard-sedan lanes between the California port cities and Hawaii that we have booked since 2023, open carrier to the terminal and a booked sailing across, shown as the middle of the market rather than the cheapest or the most expensive order. The transit column is the sailing; port processing adds a few days on each end.
Planning figures, not a quote. Enclosed on the mainland leg adds about a third, PCS season firms every sailing, and a pickup or a non-running car prices above a sedan. Use the quote calculator for an emailed Kailua estimate, or call (866) 821-4555 and a coordinator quotes the move. No deposit is taken until a carrier is assigned to your move.
The white curve runs from the boat ramp to Lanikai, on lanes the island truck meets in town.
The marine base on the peninsula rotates households on its own calendar.
The highway and H-3 come through the mountains from Honolulu in thirty minutes.
It comes over the Koolau most afternoons, and the windward side stays green for it.
Please note: Estimates on this page are middle-of-the-market bands for standard sedans from Hawaii lanes booked since 2023, open carrier to the port and a booked sailing across. Season, fuel, route, and vehicle change the real number, and the accurate Kailua figure is the price a specialist confirms by phone, not the calculator’s emailed estimate.
