Door-to-door Kihei car shipping on the sunny side of Maui, with the Maui leg told straight, condos met at street level, and Wailea homes met at the resort gate.
Ship A Car, Inc. arranges door-to-door vehicle transport for Kihei, the south Maui town where Piilani Highway and South Kihei Road are the two roads along six miles of beach, the condominiums line the shore with their parking lots and garages, the resorts of Wailea sit behind their gates to the south, the whales fill the channel every winter, and the mainland’s winter residents fill the condos from November to April. Your car rides with a licensed, insured carrier to the port and a sailing we book before pickup.
Kihei sits twenty-five minutes from Kahului Harbor on Piilani Highway, and its car shipping runs on the sailing schedule with a second leg told straight: a mainland carrier delivers the car to the terminal at Long Beach or Oakland, the ship crosses to Honolulu, and the car continues to Kahului on a direct sailing or the inter-island barge, so plan on three to six weeks door to door and about $2,600 for a standard sedan rather than the Oahu figure. Winter residents shipping a car over in November and back in April, retirees settling on the sunny side, and resort staff arriving for the season are the shipments we see most. The single-family streets take the island truck to the door; a condo garage does not fit it, so those cars meet it at street level on South Kihei Road, a Wailea address meets it at the resort gate, agreed at booking, and a Pacific storm can slip a sailing by a few days, so every window carries that flex up front.

Winter residents ship the car over in November and back in April as two orders, each priced for its month, with the Maui weeks counted in both ways.
The island truck does not enter a condo garage, so those addresses get a South Kihei Road meeting point fixed when you book.
Enter your lane, vehicle, and dates in the quote calculator for a Kihei estimate by email, and a specialist calls to confirm the price. One coordinator handles the move from booking to the delivery inspection.
Kihei prices off two sailings, the mainland crossing and the leg from Honolulu, plus the drive down Piilani. Five things move your number:
Price is the first question on every Kihei call. Hawaii books enough orders on each of these lanes for a reliable middle, so the bands below are standard-sedan lanes between the California port cities and Hawaii that we have booked since 2023, open carrier to the terminal and a booked sailing across, shown as the middle of the market rather than the cheapest or the most expensive order. The bands and the transit column are for the mainland crossing to Honolulu; the leg on to Maui adds several hundred dollars and several weeks.
Planning figures, not a quote. The Maui leg adds several hundred dollars and several weeks, enclosed on the mainland leg adds about a third, and a pickup or a non-running car prices above a sedan. For a Kihei estimate by email use the quote calculator, or call (866) 821-4555 and talk the Maui leg through with a coordinator. No deposit is taken until a carrier is assigned to your move.
Piilani Highway and South Kihei Road carry everything along six miles of beach.
The shore is lined with them, and their garages are why the truck meets you at street level.
The whales fill the channel and the mainland fills the condos from November to April.
Kahului sits twenty-five minutes up Piilani, where every Kihei car came ashore.
Please note: Estimates on this page are middle-of-the-market bands for standard sedans from Hawaii lanes booked since 2023, open carrier to the port and a booked sailing across; the leg on to Maui adds to them. Season, fuel, route, and vehicle change the real number, and the accurate figure is what a specialist confirms on the phone for your Kihei move.
