Fairmont Car Shipping on I-79 Between the Technology Park and the Pepperoni Roll

Ship A Car, Inc. arranges door-to-door vehicle transport for Fairmont, the county seat on the Monongahela halfway between Morgantown and Clarksburg, where I-79 skirts the east side of town, the I-79 Technology Park off the US-250 exit holds the space agency’s software lab and the contractors around it, the state university sits on the hill above downtown, the bakery that invented the pepperoni roll still sells them, the downtown climbs from the river on streets with a grade, and the coal camps around the town became its neighborhoods. Before any truck is booked for a car here, we confirm its carrier is licensed and insured and has passed our own vetting.

Trucks between Pittsburgh and Charleston run I-79 past the east side of town, so loading here is a short step off the interstate. A 75-foot rig loads in the lots along US-250 by exit 132, where the technology park sits, but it will not climb the downtown hill. Flat streets in town get door service, while a downtown hill address meets the truck below on Fairmont Avenue or by the bridge and a coal-camp road with a soft shoulder meets it where the pavement is firm, with the place agreed at booking. We arrange moves for technology park hires with a start date, university students arriving in August, families sending a car to a son or daughter out of state and retirees coming home to Marion County, and we allow for a winter storm on I-79 that can hold a truck for a day.
