Door-to-door West Allis car shipping at the I-94 and I-894 junction, with August state fair days planned around and Six Points met on Greenfield Avenue.
Ship A Car, Inc. arranges door-to-door vehicle transport for West Allis, the inner suburb where I-94 and I-894 meet at its edge, the state fair fills the park for eleven days every August, the old tractor works that named the town has become offices, Six Points anchors the downtown, and the worker housing of the 1920s to the 1940s fills the grids between Greenfield Avenue and the tracks. Licensed, insured and vetted by us before assignment: that is the carrier that loads your car off 84th Street or Greenfield Avenue.
Carriers reach the city from the I-94 and I-894 junction, and the lots along 84th Street near I-94 or on Greenfield Avenue at 108th Street let a 75-foot rig load close to the freeway. We handle families moving in, hires at the plants and hospitals with a start date, and snowbirds sending a car south for the winter. The grids between Greenfield Avenue and the tracks take the truck to the door on most streets, while the narrow Six Points blocks meet it on Greenfield Avenue, agreed at booking. During the state fair’s eleven days in August, 84th Street and the lots near the park jam up, so those hand-offs move to the I-894 side of town, and a January storm can push a pickup back a day.

For other Wisconsin routes, the Wisconsin car shipping guide covers the corridors, the seasons and what a move costs.
For eleven days in August the park draws a million people, so a West Allis hand-off those days moves to the I-894 side of town before you have to ask.
The order’s details are in writing before pickup day, so whoever meets the driver, you or someone you name, needs only an ID and the paperwork we sent.
The quote calculator emails an estimate after you enter the route, vehicle and dates, and a specialist calls to confirm the West Allis price. The coordinator who takes your first call stays on the order until the delivery inspection, fair week or not.
West Allis borders Milwaukee’s west side, running from the state fair park and Six Points out to the I-894 side of town. Five things decide what shipping a car from here costs:
West Allis loads near the I-94 and I-894 junction, home to the state fair park. The Miami row is the middle half of our own Florida to Wisconsin open-carrier orders since 2023, so it describes the northbound trip only, and the Columbus, Memphis, Philadelphia and San Diego rows show what customers paid for moves of similar length in our bookings between September 2025 and August 2026.
Each figure is for a sedan on an open trailer. A large SUV, a pickup truck or a car that does not run costs more, and enclosed transport about a third more. For a West Allis estimate by email, use the quote calculator, or call (866) 821-4555 for a price. No deposit is taken until a carrier is assigned to your move.
Eleven days in August, a million people, and a cream puff line around the block.
The tractor works that named the town has become offices, and the grids it built still fit the truck.
Six streets meet at a downtown of narrow blocks the truck meets on Greenfield Avenue.
I-94 and I-894 meet at the town’s edge, ten minutes from the hub.
Please note: On this West Allis table, Miami is the one row drawn from our own lane: Florida to Wisconsin open-carrier orders since 2023, read northbound only. Columbus, Memphis, Philadelphia and San Diego are distance bands from what customers paid for trips of similar length from September 2025 to August 2026, and the calculator emails an estimate for your move that a specialist confirms.
