Kenai Car Shipping Three Hours Down the Peninsula From the Terminal

Ship A Car, Inc. arranges door-to-door vehicle transport for Kenai, the town at the mouth of the river on the west side of the peninsula, where the Spur Highway ties it to Soldotna and the Sterling Highway, the oil and gas plants of Nikiski sit up the road, the river fills with dipnetters every July, the old Russian church stands over the bluff, and the Anchorage terminal, where the car lands, is three hours around the inlet by road. Your car rides with a licensed, insured carrier we vet before it is assigned, and then with an ocean carrier on a booked sailing.

A Kenai move is the Anchorage relay with a long last leg, told straight: a truck brings the car to the Port of Tacoma, a weekly sailing lifts it to Anchorage in three to seven days, and the car either waits at the terminal for you to drive it down or finishes the three hours to Kenai on a truck that adds the miles and a day or two. Door to door, plan on two to three weeks from Puget Sound and four to six from most other lower-48 origins. Hires at the plants and the hospital on a start date, families arriving for the peninsula, seasonal workers arriving for the fishing summer, and households heading back south are the shipments we see most. The grids take the truck to the door; a gravel road or a bluff drive meets it at the pavement, agreed at booking, and the July dipnet season fills the Spur and the beach roads with trucks and trailers.
