Door-to-door Florence car shipping at the I-95 and I-20 junction, with hospital start dates planned and morning hand-offs on Darlington race weekend.
Ship A Car, Inc. arranges door-to-door vehicle transport for Florence, the Pee Dee city where I-20 ends at I-95 and the Northeast-to-Florida traffic passes the exits, the rail yards that built the town still sort the freight, the hospitals draw patients from across the region, downtown has filled back in around the performing arts hall, the university sits on the east side, and the raceway in nearby Darlington runs its Labor Day race. At your door or at a lot by the I-95 exits, the car is handed to a licensed and insured carrier that we vetted before the order was assigned.
Trucks running the East Coast on I-95 and trucks coming in from the west on I-20 both pass close to Florence, and the lots on David McLeod Boulevard near I-95 give a 75-foot rig room to load. The newer streets generally take the truck at the door, and the older blocks downtown meet it on Irby Street instead, set when you book. We ship cars for doctors and nurses starting at the hospitals, for families moving to the Pee Dee, and for parents sending a car to a son or daughter who has moved out of state. Labor Day weekend brings race traffic from Darlington, so hand-offs that weekend are set for the morning, and a hurricane on the coast can still slow the trucks on I-95.

For routes across the rest of the state, our South Carolina car shipping guide covers seasons and prices from the Pee Dee to the coast and the Upstate.
I-95 carries the traffic between the Northeast and Florida right past town, so a car loading here joins a route the trucks already drive.
A doctor or nurse starting at the hospitals gets a delivery window worked back from the first shift, plus the itemized receipt a relocation desk asks for.
Enter the route, the vehicle and your dates in our quote calculator, and it emails a Florence estimate for a specialist to confirm on a call. The same coordinator stays with you from the first call through the delivery inspection, even if a start date moves.
I-20 ends at I-95 on the edge of town, and the older blocks downtown decide where a truck can stop. A Florence quote turns on five things:
Florence cars load in the driveway on the newer streets, on Irby Street for the older downtown blocks, or at a David McLeod Boulevard lot near I-95. The Charlotte, Tampa, Columbus, Austin and Sacramento rows are distance bands, the middle half of what customers paid for open-carrier moves of similar length in our bookings between September 2025 and August 2026.
These ranges assume a sedan on an open trailer leaving the Pee Dee. Pickups, three-row SUVs and cars that will not run cost more, and an enclosed trailer adds about a third. For your exact Florence route, use the quote calculator or reach a coordinator at (866) 821-4555. No deposit is taken until a carrier is assigned to your move.
I-20 ends at I-95 here, where traffic from the Northeast, Florida and the west meets at the exits.
The regional hospitals hire on set start dates, so a new hire’s car can be timed to the first shift.
The yards that built the town still sort the freight on the north side.
The Labor Day race at Darlington Raceway fills the hotels around the I-95 exits.
Please note: Florence’s figures are distance bands, not lanes of our own: Charlotte, Tampa, Columbus, Austin and Sacramento are priced from trips of comparable mileage booked from September 2025 to August 2026. Race weekend, fuel and the vehicle can move the real price, and the number dispatch books comes from a specialist’s call after your emailed estimate.
