Door-to-door Longmont car shipping up Route 119 from I-25, with tech start dates, the detour told straight, and the 1871 colony grid that fits the truck.
Ship A Car, Inc. arranges door-to-door vehicle transport for Longmont, the St. Vrain valley city where the Diagonal Highway runs to Boulder and Route 119 runs east to I-25, Main Street carries US-287 through the 1871 colony grid, the sugar factory smokestack still stands over the east side, the tech campuses hire along the highway, the city built its own fiber network when no one else would, and Longs Peak fills the western sky. The carrier we assign has passed our vetting, with its license and insurance confirmed before your car goes on its schedule.
Carriers leave I-25 and come west on Route 119, and the lots along Route 119 at I-25 or on Main Street at Ken Pratt Boulevard leave room for a 75-foot rig where the road is still wide. The colony grid takes the truck to the door on nearly every street, thanks to a plat laid out wide in 1871, while the newer west-side cul-de-sacs meet it at the entrance and a Lyons or foothill address meets it in town, all settled at booking. We move tech hires starting on a set date, families closing on a house, and retirees heading to a Nevada winter home, and a spring blizzard can push a pickup back, which we raise when you book.

The 1871 colony plat laid the streets out wide and straight, so a pickup on the old grid can usually come right to the door.
Fifteen minutes off I-25 adds a day to the window, and we say so on the first call rather than after the date slips.
Enter the route, the car and the dates you have in mind, and the quote calculator emails an estimate for a pickup off Route 119, which a specialist then confirms. One coordinator takes the order from that number to the inspection when the car is delivered.
Fifteen minutes west of I-25 on Route 119, the city grew from a colony laid out in 1871 below Longs Peak. Five things set the price of a move from the St. Vrain valley:
On Longmont's 1871 colony grid the truck can usually reach the curb, a west-side cul-de-sac meets it at the entrance, and a lot where Route 119 meets I-25 serves the rest. The Orlando row is the middle half of our own Florida to Colorado open-carrier orders since 2023, so it prices the trip north only; Las Vegas, Dallas, Tacoma and Norfolk show what customers paid for moves of similar length in our bookings between September 2025 and August 2026.
All of these assume a sedan in running order on an open trailer. An SUV, a pickup or a car that will not start costs more, and enclosed shipping adds about a third. Send your Longmont move through the quote calculator for an emailed estimate, or get a quote by calling (866) 821-4555. No deposit is taken until a carrier is assigned to your move.
The 1871 plat laid the streets wide and straight under Longs Peak.
The old sugar factory still stands over the east side by the highway.
The city built its own network when no one else would, and the tech hires followed.
The highway to Boulder and Route 119 to I-25 are the two ways carriers reach town.
Please note: Longmont’s Orlando figure comes from our own Florida to Colorado open-carrier orders since 2023 and covers the northbound trip only. Las Vegas, Dallas, Tacoma and Norfolk are distance bands, set by similar-length moves booked from September 2025 to August 2026. Season, fuel and the vehicle still shift the number, and what we book is the Longmont price a specialist confirms with you.
