Livingston Car Shipping Where the Paradise Valley Wind Meets I-90

Ship A Car, Inc. arranges door-to-door vehicle transport for Livingston, the railroad town on the Yellowstone River where I-90 comes down off Bozeman Pass, the wind funnels out of Paradise Valley hard enough to close the interstate to high-profile trucks a few days a year, the depot and the brick blocks of the old downtown still stand, the writers and the fly fishers settled here decades ago, the park’s north entrance is an hour south up the valley, and Bozeman is half an hour west over the pass. Before we assign the move, we make sure the carrier hauling your car is licensed, insured and vetted by our team.

Livingston sits on I-90 half an hour east of Bozeman, on the route carriers take between Seattle and the plains, so a pickup here does not pull a truck off its path. A full-length rig loads a minute off the ramp at the lots along Park Street by I-90 or on US-89 at the south exit. On the few days a year when the wind closes the interstate to high-profile trucks, the carrier waits it out in Bozeman or Big Timber, and you hear from us as soon as the hand-off moves. Driveways in town usually take the truck, while an address up Paradise Valley toward the park meets it at a lot here, because a loaded rig does not run the valley road in the wind; we settle that when you book. We move families arriving for the river, retirees settling in town, second-home owners from the valley, and railroad crews transferring on a start date. A winter storm on Bozeman Pass can also shift a date, and we account for it from the start.
