Two Corridors, Two Different Quotes
North Carolina’s auto transport runs on two workhorse corridors that behave differently. I-85 strings the Piedmont cities together, Charlotte through Greensboro and Winston-Salem to Durham and Raleigh via I-40, and carriers work that chain daily, which keeps metro pricing sharp. I-95 crosses the coastal plain past Fayetteville and carries the through-traffic between the Northeast and Florida. A Piedmont address and a high-country address are honestly different products: Asheville, Boone, and the Outer Banks see fewer trucks, wider windows, and often a wide-lot meet-up near the corridor.
