Preparing a Scissor Lift for Transport
Five minutes of prep prevents most transport problems: lower the platform completely, close and latch the extension deck, switch the batteries off (or valve off propane on dual-fuel units), and photograph the machine from all four sides before the carrier arrives. If the lift is at a jobsite, confirm gate access and a hard surface for loading; soft ground is the most common pickup-day surprise. Your coordinator sends this checklist at booking.
