Prep a Compact Tractor for Transport
Fold the ROPS bar and pin it; that alone drops most compact tractors under 7 feet and keeps the bar clear of the straps. Lower the loader bucket and backhoe to the deck, remove the mower deck or ballast box if it ships loose, latch the hood, and clear loose items from the operator station. Leave roughly a quarter tank of fuel, mention fluid-filled rear tires since the ballast can add several hundred pounds, and photograph the tractor from all four sides before the driver arrives.
