South Carolina to Idaho Vehicle Shipping

We've never had to transport a vehicle before. We had an excellent experience with Ship a Car. Willie D. handled our questions professionally. He explained the process, and calmed my nerves. We appreciate everything Willie did for us and will use them again if needed. We highly recommend them.

Everything went very smoothly from my quote right on through the delivery of the vehicle. The price was reasonable and the pickup and delivery times happened within the window of time I was told they would occur within. Communication from pick up to delivery was perfect and I will use Ship A Car, Inc in the future for my shipping needs!

I'm giving SAC a 1 Star due to the transporter they assigned me (guilty by association). SAC (itself) were professional and courteous. Unfortunately, if they assign "Dones Auto Transport Inc:" to you, MAKE SURE you refuse them! The driver was nice enough but didn't speak english - per the dispatcher. And the dispatcher was anything but professional. I'm all for supporting small businesses but this husband/wife team were the absolute worse in professionalism and communication! This is why they probably don't have a profile under Google or Yelp! I was promised 5 star service but received the most bootlegged service ever experienced! Wednesday, March 23: Received a call from the dispatcher "the driver (Javier) is confirmed to pick up my car on Friday (March 25) & would call me 3 hours out." Friday, March 25 Driver was a no call/no show. Attempted to make contact via text and cell to no avail. Dispatcher finally calls back late afternoon - Driver stuck at DMV all morning renewing his registration & would pick up the car  Saturday morning by approximately 8am. Saturday, March 24: 9 am, No word from driver/dispatcher. Several calls/texts made & at 12.30 pm, dispatcher text's back stating her son had the phone & she didn't realize I called. Almost an hour later I'm told the driver caught a flat but was approximately 45 miles away. 3pm, driver arrives & picks up the car. Tuesday, March 29 5 pm, dispatcher texts me - driver needs to drop off "tonight" as another driver injured his finger. I asked for a time, she provided a two hour window which I refused due to the inconsistent communication & lack of confidence. She then became obnoxious and even sent me a photo of the injury (see attached - NOT FOR THE SQUEAMISH) & demanded I make arrangements for a late drop off. After A LOT of back and forth, she agreed to a Wednesday morning drop off. Wednesday, March 30 The driver makes contact stating he was onsite & unloaded the car only to find out he was at the wrong location. It took him another hour to get to the right destination. Two hours later, I finally got my car. I know as a broker, there is little SAC can do but this needed to be said! STAY AWAY FROM DONES AUTO TRANSPORT, INC!

Hello, I worked with Steve Goodman getting my car shipped from Pennsylvania to South Dakota. I was very leery on selecting a company and had been in touch with other shippers. My finale price was about $200 higher than original quote, but South Dakota isn't a very popular route. I had Car available on November 2 , 2020 and truck picked it the same day ! Although first truck had mechanical issues, Steve has another within 30 minutes scheduled. Car was delivered with no issues , on time. I would suggest to others to be available at anytime day of the transport because the driver can show really at anytime. Its funny the other shipping company called me and said the finally found a driver to transport my car , but it was already delivered . Steve really made it happen quick !

We found out about Ship A Car online and working with them has been very easy. We needed a large piece of farm equipment shipped out of Alabama and wanted to get it done at a good price as well. Ship A Car provided us with a really good rate and excellent customer service. They provided a timetable for the process and pretty much stuck to the schedule. Everything went very smoothly and we would be happy to work with them again in the future.

What an amazing experience we had with this company and especially with Willie D. who made all the arrangements for us. I was very concerned about sending the car this way and he was so kind and patient with me taking the time to reassure me and ease my fears and apprehension. If he had not done that I honestly think I would have not sent the car this way or I might have looked to other transport companies because of the anxiety I had. He truly was a blessing. Thank you Willie for your kindness and for enduring all my calls. You should give lessons on great customer service because you were the best!

I had my car shipped from League City, TX to San Jose, CA right on schedule I expected, thanks to coordinating by Mr. Harry Burge and the driver, Mr. Jair “J.J” Marinho Jr.. I would highly recommend this company for whoever wants to ship his/her car.

I called up Ship A Car and they were very courteous on the phone. They were understanding that at my age, I'm not quick on the computer and on a whole bunch of things. But I knew what I wanted. They said they would find somebody. They said, "Give us a day." They came back and gave me a basic price. Then they came back and said, "We found somebody who will do it for $50 less. It's enclosed. Everything is perfect. We've had a lot of good feedback with them." So I gave them my credit card and they took their money. I also paid for the extra insurance because it was a specialty car.   Ship A Car reduced the amount that they would get in their pocket by $50 when carrier number one could not pick up the car timely and they had to go to carrier number two, which was the fellow I ended up with. It was perfect. The guys were personable and it was a nice experience. The only thing was that I didn't know when the driver was going to show up. They said, "We'll pick it up Friday or Tuesday or Wednesday or whatever." They couldn't give me a time. So the gentleman called me and said that they were stuck at the car dealership so instead of getting here at 10 in the morning, they were going to arrive at 2:00 or 3:00. He kept me posted along the way telling me when he was going to arrive. So it was a pleasant experience. When the driver pulled up, he had a Porsche in there, which he pulled out and then put my car in the middle because of the way it was going to be dropped off at the other location. They strapped it all down. He took pictures before it left. Then it was in Nebraska from Long Island in a couple of days. They said it could take anywhere from four to six days, but it only took two and a half days. I was very pleased. My son looked at the car when it arrived and it arrived just the way it left.

Willie was my transport advisor. He arranged enclose shipping for a 1966 Ford Thunderbird to be picked up in Plantation, Florida and delivered 3000 miles later in Seattle, Washington. It was a first class experience and the car was delivered on-time and in perfect condition. Thank you Ship A Car and Willie.

Hired their driver. He never delivered the car and kept it on his truck nearly 2 weeks. Returned it to us damaged and found out that the driver was uninsured, despite Ship-A-Car's statement that the drivers are bonded and insured. Reached out to Ship-A-Car directly for reimbursement and get no reply.

Had ship a car schedule a transport of a trailer I needed moved. Kristina was very nice and helpful with my requests and got the trailer to me quickly.

I had a truck I needed to ship from California to Texas. I check around to see who had he better rate and Service. I found Ship a Car Inc was the one for me. They were a little high in price, but you can’t beat the service. The Agent I was working with was Bob. He held my hand throughout the whole process. Even after my truck was delivered, he call me up to see if everything went OK and If I had any questions. Would I use Ship a Car Inc again? Yes, for sure. Ask for Bob.

Called Ship A Car Inc without knowing what to expect. After receiving help from Bob Moran my expectations were far surpassed. He went above and beyond to make sure that my vehicle had the smoothest transfer from Northern California to Southern California. He even took the time to follow up with the delivery. If you decide to book with this company, definitely stay away from sales agent THEO BROWN. I explained clearly to the agent that my spouse's work would be providing the payment for the shipment and that under no circumstances should my card be charged without contacting me. I then received a call directly after my call, stating that my card was needing to be charged and I had to commit to a carrier immediately. After expressing that I wasn't feeling comfortable with the transaction (I also did not feel comfortable with the agent's bullying tone), I told agent Theo Brown that I would like to go ahead and cancel my reservation. The agent's overall unprofessionalism, rude tone (he kept interrupting me and wouldn't allow me to ask my questions), and poor communication skills made me skeptical to begin with. The agent told me in his exact words, "Man, you are stupid. You are an idiot." And then proceeded to hang up on me. Did I mention that prior to this he told me that he had enough customers and didn't need me? My recommendation... Stay Away. I found better quotes and superior service with Montway, which also has no hidden fees. Even though I didn't book with them, even Amerifreight and Ship a Car Direct had both better pricing and MUCH better agents. I write this review simply to help people avoid the horrible experience I had. There are WAY BETTER options out there!

Ship a Car Inc. is the best motorcycle shipping company I have had the pleasure of encountering. This is the second time they have shipped my bike. I have had experience with other shippers and, in my experience, Ship a Car Inc. sets the standard for quality service. This time I had my bike shipped from Santa Fe NM to Florida. Joseph G. was my facilitator. He arranged to have the bike picked up within a couple of days. Considering the shop at which I had left it was closed for a day, this was the first possible opportunity to ship it. Amazing! Joseph thought it might take about six days to deliver the bike to Florida, but it got here in three. Amazing! The bike has a custom paint job and custom parts. There was not one scratch on the bike and everything was in perfect order. These folks have not only demonstrated extreme competency in making what could have been a couple of difficult situations totally stress-free, they all seem to have a great sense of humor. I love these folks! Thank you for a couple of wonderful experiences, Ship a Car. I highly recommend their service. In the future, I won't use anyone else.

I very early write reviews but this company deserving of my time to sit down and write one. I contacted Bob Moran after being left high and dry by another company. We were leaving in 3 days to relocate my son. He was going to be heading to New York shortly after relocating him so we were in a time crunch to have the car arrive before he was to leave. Bob worked tirelessly to find us a driver. It came down to an hour before my husband was going to make the 16 hour drive while we left for the airport and we received a call. IT WAS BOB and he had a driver. I have never had someone work so hard to make it work. He owed us nothing as I came to him late in the game but he didn't let me down. I feel like company works differently then most out there. This is a hard industry to trust. I give them 5 STARS!

I needed my son's car shipped from Bluffton, SC to his home in Bear, DE. My sister Louise gave me Kristina Virtue's phone, sins she is working with her to have her car shipped from Queens, NY to Las Vegas. When Shipped to LA last year the car was three to four weeks late, assume because they had different drivers. We found the car moving industry is unfortunately full of companies who promise everything, and deliver nothing. (Not So at Ship a Car Inc. ) Danny (XXX-XXX-XXXX), at Ship a Car was easy to work with and always followed up with us to successfully complete our move.

I would use Ship a car again this was my first time using this type of service and they said they would have my vehicle delivered Sunday maybe Monday afternoon. It was delivered a few days earlier on Friday afternoon so I have a lot of RESPECT. A job well done.

Great company to work with.Janet Rinella was excellent and provided timely followup explaing how the pickup and delivery would be scheduled. Chris the driver and his copilot Jen did a geat job and provided schedule updates on both pick up and detination arrival. The car transport went well and without a hitch.
