My agent was Doug and he was professional, courteous, and as truthful as he could be. He kept me informed every step of the way and was very cooperative. As our circumstances change, I made him aware and he changed things up as we were going. I was shipping my deceased husband's car to our daughter. Things had to line up before I could ship that car and I explained that to Doug at the outset. He worked with me.   I live in a rural area with narrow streets. He said, “I'm gonna put the car up for some driver with the explanation of the circumstances. We will make that driver aware. And we'll go from there.” Somebody accepted the car within 24 hours and I was totally shocked. Doug explained everything to the driver and the driver said he could handle it. When I made contact with the driver and I re-explained to him, he said, “I committed to picking this car up so that you would not have to walk, you would not have to meet me anywhere. You wouldn't have to leave your home. This car is literally going door to door.” The morning that he was coming to pick up the car, the driver called me and notified me that he was in the area. I knew exactly where he was. I again said to him, “Maybe you should just stop on the larger street or the wider street, and give me a call. And then reassess whether or not you can get down into my narrow road to pick up the car.” I heard that driver before I saw him. He got down out of his big truck and said he couldn't turn around. But I was told not to worry as this was the commitment he made. We looked over the car and he took pictures of my vehicle. He loaded the 2006 Sonata on the back of his truck and it was ready to go. He gave me an approximate delivery date to my daughter. But his plan changed. The driver did not call to tell me but that was perfectly all right. My daughter was looking forward to the weekend and when she reached him, he told her he would have the car there on Monday morning, which he did. I just wished that I had known it wasn't going to get there then I wouldn't have been so anxious that Saturday. But he didn't know. Other than that, the driver delivered and the car was in excellent condition when my daughter got it. The gentleman backed his big, old, long truck out of this narrow street. I was impressed because nobody else did. I am grateful to Ship A Car.

Please read before calling Ship A Car, Inc. I purchased a vehicle and needed it shipped from New Jersey to Missouri. I called Ship A Car and Steve Goodman set everything up was very friendly and helpful in the beginning. I called on May 19th to set up the shipping. I was told it would cost $750. The carrier would be paid $500 and Ship A Car would be paid $250. I was promised my vehicle would be picked up Thursday May 21st and be delivered to MY DOOR on Sunday May 24th. I was also told my vehicle would be in an ENCLOSED trailer. The original pick up day came and went and they told me “No carrier was going to the midwest.” Then the next day the excuse was “No carrier is going to Missouri.” Then the next day it was “We’ve called all 12 carriers we deal with and no luck.” Finally, he called me all excited and said he had found a carrier that could pick up my vehicle. He said they could pick it up May 30th and deliver it to my door June 1st but the only way they would do it is if I now paid $1,100 instead of the agreed upon $750. He said the carrier would need $900 cash and Ship A Car would be paid $200. He said “There are no other options.” I decided to go ahead and do the deal only because I had waited 10 days past the original pick up day. I should have told them to SCREW OFF but I needed the vehicle. Now to the carrier. They of course told me they wouldn’t drive their semi down my road to MY DOOR like I was promised so I had to meet them up the street. It took them an hour to get my vehicle off their trailer and the whole time they screamed and cussed at each other. People across the road at a Dollar General were standing watching because they could hear the F-bombs from there. Also my vehicle was not in an ENCLOSED trailer like Steve told me it would be. This whole experience has been a nightmare and I suggest you stay far away from Ship A Car. —————————————————————————————— ** MY RESPONSE TO SHIP A CAR’S RESPONSE ** At no time did your company tell me my “quote” would go up 32% I was told my price would be $750 and my vehicle would be picked up Thursday May 21st and delivered to my DOOR on Sunday May 24th. Your company never mentioned COVID. I was told no carriers were going to Missouri. Since writing my review we have found dog hair in my vehicle that matches the dog the carriers had with them and empty water bottles that weren’t in the vehicle before the pick up and the mileage doesn’t match up.

I would like to thank Joseph and the owner of the company for all their hard work. I would specifically like to thank Joseph for putting up with me and the mess that was created by a driver who was supposed to pick up my car but they decided to cancel literally with less than 24-hour notice when it was time to ship my car. I got really stressed because I needed it to get done since I am moving. However, Joseph really handle the situation with professionalism and made sure my car got shipped the next day, and even got me a better deal because my car is getting to Texas sooner than it was originally going to get there with the first driver. The driver who picked up my car the next day was extremely professional and communicated with me the entire time. I have shipped several cars over thr years but in particular Ms Yvonne Bowrosen has been spectacular! I needed a 1930 Model A brought to me and she arranged almost immediate pick up and delivery was right on with excellent communication from both Ms Bowrosen and the driver. Since things went so well, I decided to specifically contact her for enclosed shipping of a special viper and again she found a driver and had the car to me in days. Again, communication was super and the cost in both cases was less than other quotes. I cannot recommend ship a car and in particular Ms Bowrosen more. I will definitely call her again in the future.

I used Ship A Car Inc to transport my car from California to Wisconsin. After reading a few reviews, yes, the transport truck could be a double decker truck with several cars. Therefore, the driver will ask you to meet him/her at a location near your home...This was my first time shipping a car . How do you find a reputable company? Well, I prayed and read reviews.. I spoke with Bob at Ship A Car, I felt comfortable with the rate and transportation terms. I had no issues. There were no hidden fees, the car was delivered on time and no damages. Even though the driver did not have the title, it would have been easy to sell this this for $5000 to a ranch along the way and I would never see it. I did a lot of research on Ship A Car, Inc. before deciding to use them, and my UTV arrived safely and my wife is HAPPY! Not only did they give me the best price, but they shipped it in an enclosed trailer. I would definitely use them again.

I was a little nervous transporting my mother in laws Altima from Dallas to Plymouth. I called Ship a car and spoke with Bob M. He took the time to answer all my questions and was able to get a driver for me that day. The driver Vlad called me within the hour and picked up her car that night and it was even delivered a day early. I can not speak more highly of the assistance Joseph G. provided me throughout this process to date. When I first worked with Joseph on this shipment, he told me that if I needed anything during the shipment stage, to let him know. And he was true to his words! When I had to change the person who was going to drop my car off at the shipping port, he immediately contacted Matson to make that change. On the day of the drop off, an issue came up regarding the acceptance of my vehicle at the port, so I called Joseph to see if he could assist. He immediately attempted to get in touch with me to see how he could assist. When I didn't pick up his call, he right away contacted the person I had told him was going to drop the car off at Matson to find out the problem. I then called Joe back, and discussed the problem with him. After a discussion, he gave me pointers to resolve the issue, and requested that I contact him about any subsequent next steps that he could assist with to ensure the car was accepted on that day, which was actually the final day to have my auto on the next ship. I am greatly impressed with the care and concern that Joseph displayed with my situation. He had a definite "can do" attitude, and was ready to jump in head first in order to help me in any way he could to make sure the shipment was a success. To add importance is that I am attempting to have my car shipped from Honolulu to California while I am trying to manage this as I currently am located in Dallas. Having Joseph as my wing man and a concerned and very responsive primary contact point is invaluable, since this is such a long distance transaction for me. If Joseph is a true representative of Ship A Car and the character of their associates, Ship A Car and Joseph deserve 5 Stars and beyond. Needless to say, I am a very satisfied customer.

Just moved two classic cars from Chicago to KC in the dead of winter. I asked for a two car hauler and the found someone fast. Was scheduled to have the cars picked up on Monday but the drive contacted me to see if he could pick the cars up a day early to get ahead of a big snow storm and bitter cold. On the back end I needed him to drive the cars up a long driveway and park them in the garage. He was easy to work with and did a great job.

Maria Did Very WELL ! An Excellent Job! The Driver didn’t Call Prior to pick up but he did call prior to arrival. Maria Stayed In contact with me the entire way. The driver got lost but we worked it out together. I even pointed him back out to the road.

I worked with Steve and he was awesome! A real life saver. I had previously utilized a different shipping brokerage (through my moving company) and they left me high and dry the day before my car was supposed to be transported. I had less than 24 hours to coordinate the car transport and called Steve. He had a carrier assigned to my car within 20 minutes of my request. They picked my car up the next morning and all was well. I’m still in awe at how Steve was able to help me in 20 minutes and the other brokerage had weeks notice and couldn’t make it happen. I was searching for an Auto Transport company to ship my son's car from Lake Forest, IL to San Diego, CA. He is a Marine and stationed there. From start to finish Ship A Car worked with me to quote a very competitive price. They were very patient as I changed the drop off date a few times because it is very difficult to predict my son's schedule. He was beginning his new MOS with the Marines and he had not received his orders for his shift. I changed the drop off again, from Thursday to Friday when he mentioned that Thursdays he had specific duties and would not be able to leave the base to get his car. It was complicated because for obvious reasons, the delivery truck can't simply drive onto the US Military base. So, my son asked if they could drop the car off at a nearby Target close to the base and provided the address and a date and time that he would be allowed to leave the base. Ship A Car worked with me through all of these logistics. They picked up the car when they agreed and dropped it off as agreed, in perfect condition. My Son, thought this was a better deal than buying a new car at this point. My understanding is that the Marines on the base need some form of transportation. And although my son needed a car, he didn't feel he needed to purchase a brand new car at this time. I can't say enough about the wonderful and patient customer service for Ship A Car. Sam Ladin, the main customer service agent with whom I spoke most frequently, was so awesome! He even called me one evening - after I sent an email changing the drop off logistics - yet again - from his cell phone. He was home having dinner and stopped to deal with my issues! The drivers, Jesus and Saul were extremely professional and courteous as well! I give this company an A+!!!! My son called me and asked me for the contact details of Ship A Car because one of his Marine mates said he would like to do the same thing--ship his car from his home base; also in IL -- to California. Beware! Scheduled paid deposit was told by Steve goodman that our pick up was for Monday the 8th called him and was suppose to get back with us and havent heard from him and now he's sending our calls to voicemail. My friend even took off work so she would be home.

Excellent communication from Ship-A-Car Direct (Stefan and others). They lined up ARK Transport, who made an uneventful trip from Colorado to Ohio. Car was delivered at 10:30 PM (No problem for me, but I was unable to take good receiving inspection photos. Driver was very careful unloading car. No damage during transit.
