Ohio Sits on the National Grid
Few states are easier to route a car through than Ohio. I-71 strings Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati together; I-70 crosses the middle through Columbus and Dayton; I-75 runs Toledo to Cincinnati; and the Turnpike carries I-80/I-90 traffic across the north. Nearly every east-west carrier in the country touches Ohio somewhere, which keeps quotes competitive in every metro. Appalachian southeast Ohio is the one exception: fewer trucks, wider windows, and often a short meet-up drive to a corridor town.
