Book your shipment

Now that you received a quote and all of your transport terms have been agreed upon, you are ready to book your vehicle transport. Use our secure online booking form or call your shipping agent on their direct line to secure your transport.

Carrier Assigned

Your vehicle will be assigned to the carrier that can best accommodate your route, timeframe and price. Now that you have agreed to the assigned carrier, initial payment will be due to secure your spot on the carrier’s truck.

Pickup and delivery

On the day of pickup, your trucker will arrive and both of you will inspect your vehicle together and sign a Bill of Lading and the vehicle will be safely loaded onto the truck. Upon arrival at the destination, the vehicle will be safely offloaded. After a final inspection is completed and everything looks good, you’ll simply sign the Bill of Lading to accept your delivery.

I used Ship A Car, Inc. to move two cars from Des Moines, WA to Blue Springs, MO. They hired Nationwide to transport my cars. The contract stated they would arrive no earlier than April 26th to pick up my cars. On April 24th I received a call from the driver stating he would be arriving April 25th pick up my cars. I said I needed my car on the 25th as stated he was not suppose to arrive until at least the 26th. He told me that the only other day he could pick up my cars was on the 29th which was my morning flight to MO. I contacted Ship A Car and they reconfirmed that he will arrive on April 28th to pick up my cars. On April 28th I receive a call from the driver stating he would be there between 6-7 PM. I called at 8 PM to see where he was and he told me that he stopped at a rest stop for awhile and would be there around 8:30 PM. Well, at 9:30 PM I called again and he said his truck broke down. He arrived in a car at 10 PM to sign for the cars. this was stressful as we were to leave on a flight the next morning. Upon arrival near Blue Springs, MO he stated that he needed to park in a large lot about 1.9 miles from my location. I did not realized he was hauling a nine car carrier and I needed to find a way to the lot which was 1.9 miles away. Upon arrival, I paid the driver in cash as they do not allow a credit card. This experience was less than desirable. If you use this carrier, don't be surprise that you may have to drive your vehicles to some large lot for loading and again to a large lot to retrive your vehicles. I doubt that other carriers would be any better. My cars made a trip to Chicago, etc. before arriving at their destination. Just don't be surprised to be inconvenienced in a similar manner no matter what carrier you use. There are some out there that take initial money and you never hear from them again. Check reviews before hiring.

I recently shipped a motorcycle from Las Vegas to Washington Janet kept you posted during all those times that the let me know when the shipper was going to be there and did an excellent job of keeping you posted as to where my motorcycle was and it was delivered safely and earlier than expected and I really enjoyed ship a car's courteous and efficient Haley of my business thank you.

Thank You Danny, for your honesty. when I called for an estimate this man told me that he could have my car picked up in Ma. on Monday, and have it delivered to me in Pa. the next day, which is exactly what he did. The price was a little more than I wanted to pay, but it was well worth it. Thanks Again.

I had a seamless first-time vehicle transport experience with Ship A Car, inc. I know that is largely because of Bob Moran, the coordinator who helped me. Personable, patient, professional, always willing to answer further questions, he gave me excellent customer service and I greatly appreciate it! I was so nervous and dreading getting started but Bob put me at ease and I quickly gained great confidence in the company because of his easy and knowledgeable communication. In addition, the driver dispatched to move my car from Los Angeles To St Petersburg, Florida was punctual, called when he was supposed to, prior to pickup/delivery, and made great time completing the transport. He picked up Monday around 2 pm and delivered at 9 am on that Friday. I have nothing but praise for Ship A Car, Inc. and enthusiastically recommend them!

After being contacted my at least 20 shipping companies, I almost gave up! Then by the grace if God I contacted Ship a car and I spoke with Bob Moran, he is the best!! He said he’d call me back in 15 mins, I don’t even think it was 15 mins, he called back and BOOM he coordinated it effortlessly!!! I can’t believe how smooth the shipping was, I wish I started with Ship A Car, excellent service.....I would HIGHLY recommend, the driver dropped the car a day early - what a plus!

I first want to say that Ship A Car, Inc. did a fabulous job with shipping my 1977 Mercedes from Los Angeles to Georgia. I shipped the car covered and it arrived with no damage. Sam L. took my order and kept me informed at every step. My only complaint is with the trucking company, Z Trans, who accepted the dispatch. The company came a day later than the scheduled time to pickup the car and didn't call me to tell me they weren't coming. The day before the car was supposed to arrive, I phoned the driver and told him what time I would be at the location. Never heard back from him. He arrived early morning and was rude to my family and threatened to return the car to Los Angeles unless they were paid. The people who run this company speak little English so this adds to the difficulty in keeping in contact. So if Ship-A-Car tells you that Z Trans picked up their dispatch order, ask them to change it. I've informed them of this issue, so it shouldn't be a problem.
