New York to Utah Car Shipping

Meredith with Ship a Car, Inc. helped us to get 5 vehicles shipped across two states. She was wonderful and we highly recommend Ship a Car, Inc. We needed our cars shipped quickly. Meredith was responsive and communicative. She found us two professional drivers who both did an excellent job!

We strongly recommend contacting a shipping company directly. For the $225 fee we had little or no communication from pick-up (we were able to find the name/number of the driver we were told was going to pick up our bike -- but he was unaware he was supposed to pick it up and wouldn't have on the scheduled day had we not contacted him) until delivery unless we initiated and tracked down individuals, most of who were drivers and unable to assist us as to located the bike and determining a deliver date. The estimated delivery date was off by a full week and attempts to find a more accurate delivery date was unsuccessful (though we did manage to contact a driver that left the bike in Oklahoma City -- though courtesous and wanting to be helpful, couldn't help us). We received less than 24 hours notice of delivery. Finally, even the payment instructions were in error so that when the bike was finally delivered, the form of payment (a cashier's check as we were instructed to prepare) was not correct. We ended up paying by credit card, not a problem, but seems like a simple detail that a brokerage company should be aware of. Instead, we wasted time one evening to go to our bank to secure an unnecessary cashier's check. My advice? Bypass this broker company and contact shipper directly. We gained no advantage or service worth the $225 on top of the $525 to ship the bike. We could have saved $225 OR spent the combined $750 on renting a truck, fuel and one night hotel to transport it ourselves with more predictability.

Our shipment of the 2010 Prius went flawlessly. Your pickup was as scheduled and the delivery in Virginia was also trouble free. Thanks for your professional service for the entire movement of our beloved vehicle. We watched the loading in Reno and my son was on hand in Virginia for the unloading and flawless delivery.
