The hallmark of a good company is not if there is ever a problem but HOW they handle the problem. Turns out the problem I had was initially a major pain and hardship to both of us due to the unscrupulousness of the subcontractor. It happens. They figured out how to circumvent a checks and balances process. Ship a Car realized that, changed their process, and took care of the situation. Kudos to them. Joseph Gorfien was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive each step of the shipment of my four seater golf car from picking it up on Marco Island to delivery in Roswell Ga. - picked up on the 4th and delivered on the 5th just as quoted which was a reasonable price. Thank you Joseph!

The car was picked up on Tuesday morning in Phoenix and delivered Saturday morning in Illinois 60 miles north of Chicago in good condition. The transaction went smoothly from the beginning to the end. The customer service rep, Johnathan V. was capable and friendly as well as the trucking company driver.

If you decide to book with this company, definitely stay away from sales agent THEO BROWN. I explained clearly to the agent that my spouse's work would be providing the payment for the shipment and that under no circumstances should my card be charged without contacting me. I then received a call directly after my call, stating that my card was needing to be charged and I had to commit to a carrier immediately. After expressing that I wasn't feeling comfortable with the transaction (I also did not feel comfortable with the agent's bullying tone), I told agent Theo Brown that I would like to go ahead and cancel my reservation. The agent's overall unprofessionalism, rude tone (he kept interrupting me and wouldn't allow me to ask my questions), and poor communication skills made me skeptical to begin with. The agent told me in his exact words, "Man, you are stupid. You are an idiot." And then proceeded to hang up on me. Did I mention that prior to this he told me that he had enough customers and didn't need me? My recommendation... Stay Away. I found better quotes and superior service with Montway, which also has no hidden fees. Even though I didn't book with them, even Amerifreight and Ship a Car Direct had both better pricing and MUCH better agents. I write this review simply to help people avoid the horrible experience I had. There are WAY BETTER options out there!

Ship a Car is the best especially Meredith. She was professional, kind, courteous and our car was delivered when promised. I even received a follow up call from her to make sure everything went well with the transport. I would highly recommend Ship a Care to anyone.

Bob arranged the car move from Long Island to Texas. Everything went smoothly. The car arrived in Texas less than a week after pick-up.
