My agent was Doug and he was professional, courteous, and as truthful as he could be. He kept me informed every step of the way and was very cooperative. As our circumstances change, I made him aware and he changed things up as we were going. I was shipping my deceased husband's car to our daughter. Things had to line up before I could ship that car and I explained that to Doug at the outset. He worked with me.   I live in a rural area with narrow streets. He said, “I'm gonna put the car up for some driver with the explanation of the circumstances. We will make that driver aware. And we'll go from there.” Somebody accepted the car within 24 hours and I was totally shocked. Doug explained everything to the driver and the driver said he could handle it. When I made contact with the driver and I re-explained to him, he said, “I committed to picking this car up so that you would not have to walk, you would not have to meet me anywhere. You wouldn't have to leave your home. This car is literally going door to door.” The morning that he was coming to pick up the car, the driver called me and notified me that he was in the area. I knew exactly where he was. I again said to him, “Maybe you should just stop on the larger street or the wider street, and give me a call. And then reassess whether or not you can get down into my narrow road to pick up the car.” I heard that driver before I saw him. He got down out of his big truck and said he couldn't turn around. But I was told not to worry as this was the commitment he made. We looked over the car and he took pictures of my vehicle. He loaded the 2006 Sonata on the back of his truck and it was ready to go. He gave me an approximate delivery date to my daughter. But his plan changed. The driver did not call to tell me but that was perfectly all right. My daughter was looking forward to the weekend and when she reached him, he told her he would have the car there on Monday morning, which he did. I just wished that I had known it wasn't going to get there then I wouldn't have been so anxious that Saturday. But he didn't know. Other than that, the driver delivered and the car was in excellent condition when my daughter got it. The gentleman backed his big, old, long truck out of this narrow street. I was impressed because nobody else did. I am grateful to Ship A Car.

I had a motorcycle shipped from Maryland to Arkansas. Ship A Car provided fast transport and professional service. I was offered a great quote on the shipping cost, and provided with the convenience of digitally signing the shipping contract via email. The transporter arrived on time and delivered the motorcycle to the destination address within 48 hours. The process went smoothly and worry free from start to finish. I even received a follow up phone from the Transport Coordinator after the motorcycle had been delivered to see how my shipping experience had been. He got a driver Alexsia who was so methodical and safety conscious that I didn't have any worries about having him transport my car with the other 6 cars. I like the company as they had a two day window instead of 3 or more days for pickup. I needed that shorter window as I didn't want my car to arrive before I did. I would certainly use them and highly recommend them to others.

We went with Ship-A-Car because we were unable to do cash to ship a car. ($900 was their quote.) I was to the understanding that there would be a $250 deposit charged when the contract was picked up and the remaining $650 would be charged upon delivery. WRONG! Ship-a-Car went with a company that does NOT do credit cards. Now we are having to work with the transport company and Ship-a-Car was able to basically take $250 from us just to do the same damned thing we could have done on our own if we had the cash. I will never use them again and will never recommend them.

Hello, I worked with Steve Goodman getting my car shipped from Pennsylvania to South Dakota. I was very leery on selecting a company and had been in touch with other shippers. My finale price was about $200 higher than original quote, but South Dakota isn't a very popular route. I had Car available on November 2 , 2020 and truck picked it the same day ! Although first truck had mechanical issues, Steve has another within 30 minutes scheduled. Car was delivered with no issues , on time. I would suggest to others to be available at anytime day of the transport because the driver can show really at anytime. Its funny the other shipping company called me and said the finally found a driver to transport my car , but it was already delivered . Steve really made it happen quick !

Awesome experience. We shipped my sons very large F-350 from Oregon to N. Carolina and it went very smoothly. Working with Lawrence was a great experience. He listened to all the details of our shipment and got us a tremendous carrier to handle our large and very special load. I recently purchased a 1942 Ford Deluxe Convertible, I needed someone to transport from Idaho to Upstate NY. My son came up with Ship A Car Auto Transportation from the Hemmings Motor News Magazine. Joseph Gorfien an employee took care of my car and arranged for trucking plus answered all my questions and calmed any apprehensions I had. The car arrived a day early in excellent condition. My experience with DANA was amazing. She was very profesional from the first phone call. I will give her 10/10 in keeping up with communication when I was concerned with the Truck driver and his lack of communication. Car was picked up on time and delivery was on time. (PA to CA move was done in 4 days).  I did have some issue with the truck driver regarding pickup and delivery timings but Dana kept good communication with me.  I have a new 2019 model of luxury car and it was delivered in very good condition.  Please ask for Dana when you call.

Do not give these people your money. I paid them their $300 deposit to have a driver sent to my location. The driver showed up 2 days late at 10pm and said he couldn’t tow my trailer because my brakes didn’t work and took $400 from me and said I can get my money back from SHIP A CAR INC. Well the driver and this company seemed sketchy and so I called another company to tow it. They towed it on time, without issue, with no complaints about my brakes, for much less. When I called SHIP A CAR INC to see if I can get any of the $700 dollars (which I spent for them to do absolutely nothing for me) back they said they would get in contact with me. Each time I’ve called back they say, again, they will call me later. This has happened 3 times and now I am fed up with waiting. It took me just a couple google searches to find a much more reliable and inexpensive company, who didn’t steal from me, so I recommend you search a little longer and find someone else.

I have used your service twice now. Bob M. in Florida has taken care of me both times. I defiantly was an extremely difficult customer this past time . I was having a hard time arranging and planning my move back home. I think I had to change the date 3 times. Riding my motorcycle cross-country from Florida, up to Jasper Canada, and down to California put a hurting on my hands. I was looking to cut out the San Francisco section of our trip and have the bike shipped to Carson City NV. I needed the bike there in two weeks; by the end of September. Two major shippers said they could not get the bike there until October. Then I had the good fortune of connecting with Ship a Car Inc. Steve Goodman handled my request and said they could do it. I was a bit nervous as Steve took a couple of days to arrange transport and call me. But he came through and got the bike transported quicker than I would have expected. Since we were already in San Francisco, I called the shop in Eureka CA where I had left the bike for pick-up. As Steve had said, the bike was transported in an enclosed truck. The shop told me the driver was very professional and took a long time to make sure my bike was loaded and secured properly. I then called the shop in Carson City where the bike was to be delivered. They told me the bike was already there, that the driver had taken great care of my bike, and that he seemed very professional. This was a very difficult time-frame to deal with. This was not a pre-scheduled transportation issue. It was a last-minute decision on my part. The location of the pick-up shop in Eureka CA was only an every two-week area for the two other shippers I had tried. Steve Goodman and Ship a Car Inc came through. They saved our vacation and I am grateful, extremely grateful for the professionalism displayed. I would use their service again. in a heartbeat.

I shipped a brand new $15,000 Yamaha Viking UTV from Montana to Oregon. Even though the driver did not have the title, it would have been easy to sell this this for $5000 to a ranch along the way and I would never see it. Ship A Car saved me from a horrible experience. I had put a deposit in and waited a month and a week with another company. With Ship A Car I didn't have to put down a deposit until they had a driver for me, which was within 24Hrs. Quinten Putnam had fabulous customer services and was always available to talk. I never got the runaround and didn't have to wait. Car went from Texas to Florida in 5 days. I'd still be waiting with the other people.

Had ship a car schedule a transport of a trailer I needed moved. Kristina was very nice and helpful with my requests and got the trailer to me quickly.

I called up Ship A Car and they were very courteous on the phone. They were understanding that at my age, I'm not quick on the computer and on a whole bunch of things. But I knew what I wanted. They said they would find somebody. They said, "Give us a day." They came back and gave me a basic price. Then they came back and said, "We found somebody who will do it for $50 less. It's enclosed. Everything is perfect. We've had a lot of good feedback with them." So I gave them my credit card and they took their money. I also paid for the extra insurance because it was a specialty car.   Ship A Car reduced the amount that they would get in their pocket by $50 when carrier number one could not pick up the car timely and they had to go to carrier number two, which was the fellow I ended up with. It was perfect. The guys were personable and it was a nice experience. The only thing was that I didn't know when the driver was going to show up. They said, "We'll pick it up Friday or Tuesday or Wednesday or whatever." They couldn't give me a time. So the gentleman called me and said that they were stuck at the car dealership so instead of getting here at 10 in the morning, they were going to arrive at 2:00 or 3:00. He kept me posted along the way telling me when he was going to arrive. So it was a pleasant experience. When the driver pulled up, he had a Porsche in there, which he pulled out and then put my car in the middle because of the way it was going to be dropped off at the other location. They strapped it all down. He took pictures before it left. Then it was in Nebraska from Long Island in a couple of days. They said it could take anywhere from four to six days, but it only took two and a half days. I was very pleased. My son looked at the car when it arrived and it arrived just the way it left.

I had originally scheduled a my car transport with Nationwide auto transportation (don't us them). On the day of my pickup nationwide called me stating that they had no one to pick up my car after I have made a reservation 2 weeks prior. When i originally made my reservation i was told tbwy would contact me two day before the pick. Due to their lack of professionalism I cancelled there service. I called ship a Car the same day and Pepper answered. We scheduled a pickup for the next busy day and with 48 my car was shipped from Florida to California.

I called Ship A Car to arrange the shipment of a BMW I purchased online from CT to Florida. Ship A Car was very professional, explained the entire process thoroughly and provided me with all of the info needed to stay in touch with my driver throughout the week as he transported my car to me. This company and is a broker, they do not want to go above and beyond. There was a delay in our expedited shipment and they really didn't try to help. While talking to myself and my wife they hung up on my wife. When we called back to speak to a manager, the manager really didn't seem to care and still didn't try to help with the delay. The actual company they hired to transport our vehicle is the one that absolutely went above and beyond. The customer service at ship a car was really unprofessional.

I can not speak more highly of the assistance Joseph G. provided me throughout this process to date. When I first worked with Joseph on this shipment, he told me that if I needed anything during the shipment stage, to let him know. And he was true to his words! When I had to change the person who was going to drop my car off at the shipping port, he immediately contacted Matson to make that change. On the day of the drop off, an issue came up regarding the acceptance of my vehicle at the port, so I called Joseph to see if he could assist. He immediately attempted to get in touch with me to see how he could assist. When I didn't pick up his call, he right away contacted the person I had told him was going to drop the car off at Matson to find out the problem. I then called Joe back, and discussed the problem with him. After a discussion, he gave me pointers to resolve the issue, and requested that I contact him about any subsequent next steps that he could assist with to ensure the car was accepted on that day, which was actually the final day to have my auto on the next ship. I am greatly impressed with the care and concern that Joseph displayed with my situation. He had a definite "can do" attitude, and was ready to jump in head first in order to help me in any way he could to make sure the shipment was a success. To add importance is that I am attempting to have my car shipped from Honolulu to California while I am trying to manage this as I currently am located in Dallas. Having Joseph as my wing man and a concerned and very responsive primary contact point is invaluable, since this is such a long distance transaction for me. If Joseph is a true representative of Ship A Car and the character of their associates, Ship A Car and Joseph deserve 5 Stars and beyond. Needless to say, I am a very satisfied customer.

I was searching for an Auto Transport company to ship my son's car from Lake Forest, IL to San Diego, CA. He is a Marine and stationed there. From start to finish Ship A Car worked with me to quote a very competitive price. They were very patient as I changed the drop off date a few times because it is very difficult to predict my son's schedule. He was beginning his new MOS with the Marines and he had not received his orders for his shift. I changed the drop off again, from Thursday to Friday when he mentioned that Thursdays he had specific duties and would not be able to leave the base to get his car. It was complicated because for obvious reasons, the delivery truck can't simply drive onto the US Military base. So, my son asked if they could drop the car off at a nearby Target close to the base and provided the address and a date and time that he would be allowed to leave the base. Ship A Car worked with me through all of these logistics. They picked up the car when they agreed and dropped it off as agreed, in perfect condition. My Son, thought this was a better deal than buying a new car at this point. My understanding is that the Marines on the base need some form of transportation. And although my son needed a car, he didn't feel he needed to purchase a brand new car at this time. I can't say enough about the wonderful and patient customer service for Ship A Car. Sam L., the main customer service agent with whom I spoke most frequently, was so awesome! He even called me one evening - after I sent an email changing the drop off logistics - yet again - from his cell phone. He was home having dinner and stopped to deal with my issues! The drivers, Jesus and Saul were extremely professional and courteous as well! I give this company an A+!!!! My son called me and asked me for the contact details of Ship A Car because one of his Marine mates said he would like to do the same thingship his car from his home base; also in IL to California.
