With the coronavirus raging unabated in the Miami area, I needed to have my car transported to me, at my Lexington, KY home since I couldn’t go back to FL anytime soon. I talked to several vendors. They were all impressive until I talked to Bob at Ship A Car. His calming voice, his reassuring manner, and his ability and desire to thoroughly check all the facts before committing, cinched the deal. A few days after my vehicle was picked up, it was delivered to me at my address flawlessly. He embraces customer centricity, and checked in afterwards to ensure that I was satisfied with the service. I have no qualms whatsoever in recommending his service to anyone with a need. He’s the BEST!

My husband and I just had our cars delivered by a Ship A Car and we have to say that the service provided by them was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The driver said he would arrive to pick up our cars at Noon and let me say he was there exactly at Noon. Our cars were picked up on a Saturday and by Wednesday afternoon we had them (picked up in New York and dropped off in Florida). We would highly recommend this company.

I'm giving SAC a 1 Star due to the transporter they assigned me (guilty by association). SAC (itself) were professional and courteous. Unfortunately, if they assign "Dones Auto Transport Inc:" to you, MAKE SURE you refuse them! The driver was nice enough but didn't speak english - per the dispatcher. And the dispatcher was anything but professional. I'm all for supporting small businesses but this husband/wife team were the absolute worse in professionalism and communication! This is why they probably don't have a profile under Google or Yelp! I was promised 5 star service but received the most bootlegged service ever experienced! Wednesday, March 23: Received a call from the dispatcher "the driver (Javier) is confirmed to pick up my car on Friday (March 25) & would call me 3 hours out." Friday, March 25 Driver was a no call/no show. Attempted to make contact via text and cell to no avail. Dispatcher finally calls back late afternoon - Driver stuck at DMV all morning renewing his registration & would pick up the car  Saturday morning by approximately 8am. Saturday, March 24: 9 am, No word from driver/dispatcher. Several calls/texts made & at 12.30 pm, dispatcher text's back stating her son had the phone & she didn't realize I called. Almost an hour later I'm told the driver caught a flat but was approximately 45 miles away. 3pm, driver arrives & picks up the car. Tuesday, March 29 5 pm, dispatcher texts me - driver needs to drop off "tonight" as another driver injured his finger. I asked for a time, she provided a two hour window which I refused due to the inconsistent communication & lack of confidence. She then became obnoxious and even sent me a photo of the injury (see attached - NOT FOR THE SQUEAMISH) & demanded I make arrangements for a late drop off. After A LOT of back and forth, she agreed to a Wednesday morning drop off. Wednesday, March 30 The driver makes contact stating he was onsite & unloaded the car only to find out he was at the wrong location. It took him another hour to get to the right destination. Two hours later, I finally got my car. I know as a broker, there is little SAC can do but this needed to be said! STAY AWAY FROM DONES AUTO TRANSPORT, INC!

This review is easy! Janet Rinella at Ship A Car, Inc. Is a huge asset to that company. I had been through 2 miserable experiences with 2 transport companies, both of which I canceled after much frustration and NO results nor return calls, even after paying their required deposits. Learned through Google that best way to get auto transported is through a Broker. For some then unknown reason I called Ship A Car, Inc., and Janet Rinella answered the phone. Janet knows her stuff, is dependable, knowledgeable of this business, straight forward, kind, diligent, and FAST with results. From my first call with her, she found a transport company, located their driver and set up the pick up of the vehicle we were transporting to our grandson who is an Airman at Dover AFB, Delaware. This all was done by Janet's persistent follow up, contacting me daily every step of the way. She seemed to be as concerned for our grandson to get the car as we were. She is not only proficient at her job, she is caring, even to the point of asking me to contact her "no matter how late" when we met our driver and he drove it onto the ramps of the truck. That was last Tuesday. Our grandson received his car across country YESTERDAY! There is no doubt in my mind that had we hired any other company, we would still have that car in our driveway and our nerves and stress levels would be off the chart. In addition, throughout my many calls, texts and emails to Janet, we have developed a special and forever friendship. Her people skills are genuine, her work ethic is beyond reproach.

You guys are unbelievable! You made this so easy...... This was our first time transporting a car and after vetting-out all the unscrupulous brokers we found Ship A Car. You provided a covered transport in two days... My mechanic says that is unheard of... In all the years he has transported vehicles the shortest time for pick-up was 1 week... The assigned transport driver kept us informed of the progress and delivered the vehicle from Santa Rosa CA to Indio CA in 1 day!

Being a small online dealer I ship a couple of cars a month. So over the years, I've ran into my fair share of auto transport headaches! I called a few different companies for quotes, but Ship A Car was the cheapest. I highly recommend their service. They shipped my 2019 Genesis in an enclosed trailer and I was updated every step of the way with pictures and notifications. I recommend working with Leo and/or Danny.

Danny did an amazing job assisting my transport of two cars across the country. He met specific terms in our contract and provided first class service throughout the entire process. We ran into an issue where the truck picking up the cars had engine trouble. Danny called and had already fixed the problem contracting a second truck with the agreed upon pick-up date. The two cars were picked up and delivered on time.

Do not give these people your money. I paid them their $300 deposit to have a driver sent to my location. The driver showed up 2 days late at 10pm and said he couldn’t tow my trailer because my brakes didn’t work and took $400 from me and said I can get my money back from SHIP A CAR INC. Well the driver and this company seemed sketchy and so I called another company to tow it. They towed it on time, without issue, with no complaints about my brakes, for much less. When I called SHIP A CAR INC to see if I can get any of the $700 dollars (which I spent for them to do absolutely nothing for me) back they said they would get in contact with me. Each time I’ve called back they say, again, they will call me later. This has happened 3 times and now I am fed up with waiting. It took me just a couple google searches to find a much more reliable and inexpensive company, who didn’t steal from me, so I recommend you search a little longer and find someone else.

Hello, I worked with Steve Goodman getting my car shipped from Pennsylvania to South Dakota. I was very leery on selecting a company and had been in touch with other shippers. My finale price was about $200 higher than original quote, but South Dakota isn't a very popular route. I had Car available on November 2 , 2020 and truck picked it the same day ! Although first truck had mechanical issues, Steve has another within 30 minutes scheduled. Car was delivered with no issues , on time. I would suggest to others to be available at anytime day of the transport because the driver can show really at anytime. Its funny the other shipping company called me and said the finally found a driver to transport my car , but it was already delivered . Steve really made it happen quick !

Ship A Car did a good job. Their customer service was sufficient. I didn't have to worry about, “Where's the car? Or what are they doing?” Everything was in a timely manner. They had a man come here and he was of Lithuanian descent and he was new in the country. He was very kind and polite. He knew what he was supposed to do and did his job well. The car was delivered in about a day. He was very efficient. It worked out great.

I was searching for an Auto Transport company to ship my son's car from Lake Forest, IL to San Diego, CA. He is a Marine and stationed there. From start to finish Ship A Car worked with me to quote a very competitive price. They were very patient as I changed the drop off date a few times because it is very difficult to predict my son's schedule. He was beginning his new MOS with the Marines and he had not received his orders for his shift. I changed the drop off again, from Thursday to Friday when he mentioned that Thursdays he had specific duties and would not be able to leave the base to get his car. It was complicated because for obvious reasons, the delivery truck can't simply drive onto the US Military base. So, my son asked if they could drop the car off at a nearby Target close to the base and provided the address and a date and time that he would be allowed to leave the base. Ship A Car worked with me through all of these logistics. They picked up the car when they agreed and dropped it off as agreed, in perfect condition. My Son, thought this was a better deal than buying a new car at this point. My understanding is that the Marines on the base need some form of transportation. And although my son needed a car, he didn't feel he needed to purchase a brand new car at this time. I can't say enough about the wonderful and patient customer service for Ship A Car. Sam Ladin, the main customer service agent with whom I spoke most frequently, was so awesome! He even called me one evening - after I sent an email changing the drop off logistics - yet again - from his cell phone. He was home having dinner and stopped to deal with my issues! The drivers, Jesus and Saul were extremely professional and courteous as well! I give this company an A+!!!! My son called me and asked me for the contact details of Ship A Car because one of his Marine mates said he would like to do the same thing--ship his car from his home base; also in IL -- to California. The only problem was that the company they ended up hiring for shipping my vehicle was a problem. But when I told them about the problem they were very nice about it, and they handled it very well. Excellent communication from Ship-A-Car Direct (Stefan and others). They lined up ARK Transport, who made an uneventful trip from Colorado to Ohio. Car was delivered at 10:30 PM (No problem for me, but I was unable to take good receiving inspection photos. Driver was very careful unloading car. No damage during transit.

I couldn't have asked for better service. Janet was friendly, had a sense of humor, and got the job done. Within a few hours of my call, I had my car scheduled to be picked up the same day, at a cost that was lower than all the other "instant quote" places. I was waiting for 2 weeks for the dealership to find a shipper- she explained simply why it wasn't working, and fixed it. Couldn't be happier, money well spent here.

This is a company of thieves and liars. DO NOT SEND YOUR CAR with them. THEY WILL TRICK YOU AND OVERCHARGE YOU. They will lie to you on every step of the phone call. NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING THEY PROMISED or agreed with is real. They told me they would charge 200 dollars for commission, but they will charge you 3,4,5x more from your credit card. They will promise you a closed truck, but they will send an open truck. In addition to the worst service I had in my life, the supervisor dismissed my complaints for over one week and their company and/or employee STOLE MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER. After providing them my credit card number (I rarely use this credit card that I provided to them), my credit card was used in locations around their office location in Florida. THEY COMMIT CREDIT CARD FRAUD!! Be aware, this is a scam only surpassed by the one committed by the Wolf of Wall Street. I will make sure no one uses them again, I will take the appropriate legal action and report them to the Consumer Protection Bureau

I needed a car shipped on a short haul from Nevada to California on an ASAP basis because the hauler I had contracted with cancelled on me at the last minute.
