Hawaii (Hawaiian: Hawai‘i), affluence of natural beauty and serenity, is a group of volcanic islands in the central Pacific Ocean. Kansas has some nicknames including Sunflower State, Wheat State, and Jayhawk State of the country. The state’s motto is “Ad Astra per Aspera” which means “to the stars through difficulties” which simulates its history of struggle.
