My experience was positive. The agent, Will, with Ship A Car, was very professional and my two cars were picked up and delivered in the condition I gave them to the driver. In fact, the driver delivered my cars one day earlier!

Just received our car Dallas to ny with a damaged tire. Some advice. Get the name of the company that is actually transporting your car before you sign a contract and check credentials. We didn’t. The company had an F rating on BBB. Don’t count on door to door. Late on pick up. Late on delivery. Sat in Philadelphia for 2 days b cause the driver took the keys home Don’t count on communication on weekends. Auto ship passes the buck to the transport company as soon as you sign. You will only get info from the dispatcher and it was inaccurate for us On to the claim. Never again

We shipped a 2000 Camry from VA to NE. The only drawback was that it took 2 1/2 weeks to get a carrier. The pick up and delivery was flawless and the car was in the same excellent condition on delivery as on pick up. We received excellent service from our agent, Lawrence Knapp. We have no reservations recommending this company.

Sometimes my husband had trouble with the actual drivers. But Ship A Car always got them straightened up for him.

Carrie is definitely the best one. I was very nervous and concerned about shipping my car on the date I requested, because my special situation. Carrie was very patient and helpful, she explained the shipping process and ensured me the car would be shipped on time. She also called me afterwards to make sure everything is good. This review is easy! Janet Rinella at Ship A Car, Inc. Is a huge asset to that company. I had been through 2 miserable experiences with 2 transport companies, both of which I canceled after much frustration and NO results nor return calls, even after paying their required deposits. Learned through Google that best way to get auto transported is through a Broker. For some then unknown reason I called Ship A Car, Inc., and Janet Rinella answered the phone. Janet knows her stuff, is dependable, knowledgeable of this business, straight forward, kind, diligent, and FAST with results. From my first call with her, she found a transport company, located their driver and set up the pick up of the vehicle we were transporting to our grandson who is an Airman at Dover AFB, Delaware. This all was done by Janet's persistent follow up, contacting me daily every step of the way. She seemed to be as concerned for our grandson to get the car as we were. She is not only proficient at her job, she is caring, even to the point of asking me to contact her "no matter how late" when we met our driver and he drove it onto the ramps of the truck. That was last Tuesday. Our grandson received his car across country YESTERDAY! There is no doubt in my mind that had we hired any other company, we would still have that car in our driveway and our nerves and stress levels would be off the chart. In addition, throughout my many calls, texts and emails to Janet, we have developed a special and forever friendship. Her people skills are genuine, her work ethic is beyond reproach.

Truck arrived two days ahead of estimated time given at time of quote. The staff at Ship a Car kept me informed of the delivery schedule, once it had been picked up. Well worth the price.

I called Ship A Car and spoke with Les Grundleger. He was very helpful, very professional and very engaging. Les kept me informed at every step in the process and was always available when I called with questions. I had a very pleasant experience with Ship a Car itself. However, the company that my vehicle was dispatched to did not fare as well. The time schedule slipped on both the pickup and the delivery. In both cases they were hours behind the window promised and wound up picking up and delivering a day later than scheduled. I had to drive 5 miles to pick up my car because the driver said he couldn't get any closer because his rig was big. That didn't set well with me because the truck that delivered my household goods was a 73 foot tractor/trailor that dwarfed the transport and he backed it right down my driveway. Les actually followed up after the car was delivered and I told him of the issues I had with the trucking company. He promised to take it to management to recommend that they not be considered for hire if they were going to do that kind of thing. I would go with ship a car for their service, but stay away from Abraham Express if they get the dispatch.

I needed to transport my car from Kentucky to Nevada. I requested a quote and received one via email. I then received a phone call from Bob M. Bob worked with me explaining the process for shipping a car and once I had sent in my paperwork he went to work finding a driver to transport my car. When the first driver's dispatcher called to let me know my driver's truck broke down, I immediately called Bob and explained the situation. He got to work finding a new driver for my car. Having Bob on my side, to arrange this transport was a huge relief to me and I was glad to know that things would be taken care of. My car arrived on time (actually it was there before I was expecting it) and l was very pleased with this company. Paid $900 + to have my car shipped from Colorado to South Carolina. Helped the driver load my car onto a flat bed on 6/23/16, armed my alarm, and filled out paperwork, and paid the requested cash amount. The Car was to be delivered at my mother-in laws house on 6/25/16. The Driver stated that this would not be an issue. I told him that it wasn't a huge deal if it took another day or so. The 25th came around so I text and called the driver and asked him to please arrange a time with my mother-in law so she will be home to receive the car. He said that he would right away, she never received any call. The next day I called again to no response, so I called shipacar and had no response from them. Finally received a call telling me that the driver broke his leg and his boss would be delivering the car, still no exact date or time. A Couple of days go by and the car finally shows up at her house with not the original driver, not the boss, but a part time college kid. This was the early afternoon on 6/28/16, Three Days Late. The driver and the company didn't know that I have a gps system built into my alarm. My car basically stayed parked at the guys home for two days. So the late delivery isn't even the worst part about this who process. Keep in mind that we are driving across the country this whole time. We finally arrive in SC on 6/30/16. Checked out my car and everything looked ok. Went for a drive to go say hello to my parents and on my way there was some sort of smell in my car. Was tired that night so didn't pay much attention to it. The next morning I decide to check out my car a little further and in the rear door panel inside a plastic truck stop bag was one opened and drank Fosters Beer Can and one Full Can. So that is why my car smelled like crap, it was from an open beer can. I am absolutely livid at this point because not only did someone unlock my car when they had no need to enter my car, someone was drinking in my car. Who knows what else they did in my car? I call ship a car and tell them what has happened and they were astounded. They call the company that "They Hired" and ask their side. I then get a call from the company telling me that it was my beer or I let someone drive my car and they left it in there. I explain to him that no one has every borrowed my car and I certainly don't drink fosters or have every known anyone that does, or shops at a pilot truck stop. We go back and forth with the owner of the transport company and all he can say is that he is very sorry and he will fire the driver. I am pretty sure that they are related because when we said fosters beer he changed his tune. Anyway I see why they deal in cash because they are not willing to do any refund. No to Shipacar, I explain to them how if I were pulled over driving my car with that beer and open container in the car I would have probably lost my license. They were apologetic and said they will try to get money back from the transport company, which I thought this whole time was them. They got me in touch with a supervisor who only offered to refund me $100.00. After we paid them $300+ , I asked that if they can't return the money that the driver received the next best thing would to do the honorable thing and refund all the money they got on their end. They were absolutely unwilling to make things right and just eat it on their side of the deal. In the end I would say forgo hiring a middle man like this because they pretty much sell your transport to any looser that they have in their system. Just go and find a transport company that actually ships your car and save some money.

You guys are unbelievable! You made this so easy...... This was our first time transporting a car and after vetting-out all the unscrupulous brokers we found Ship A Car. You provided a covered transport two days... My mechanic says that is unheard of... In all the years he has transported vehicles the shortest time was 1 week... The assigned transport driver kept us informed of the progress and delivered the vehicle from Santa Rosa CA to Indio CA in 1 day! I would be happy to provide a picture of the car and a nice endorsement... Thanks again Lisa...

Great company to work with.Janet Rinella was excellent and provided timely followup explaing how the pickup and delivery would be scheduled. Chris the driver and his copilot Jen did a geat job and provided schedule updates on both pick up and detination arrival. The car transport went well and without a hitch. I definetely will use them again.

The process went well. The agent followed up when he said he would. The delivery was the day that it was supposed to be. Everything got here without damage. It was very good. Highly recommended.

I must apologize for not writing sooner, but our move has extremely long and our household just arrived (computers as well). I can't say enough good things about the excellent service we received! Your communications with us, answering all my questions and keeping me calm all the way through the process were priceless. Our driver "Ihar" was fabulous! He made contact with us and came through as promised on arrival time. He took his time (being a true professional) to make sure that both cars were hooked up nice and tight to ensure no damage would come to them. He took photos of the cars and was very professional and kept in touch with us on his arrival. He was so quick getting our cars to their destination, that he beat us there. He did not complain about having to wait 3 hours, while our plane landed and we made our way over to meet him. The cars were in the same condition as when they left. My car arrived within 4 days of pick-up. I was surprised because of bad weather that was happening bringing rain and ice. The driver was an interesting fellow who drives a 2 car carrier. We were able to talk to him for a few minutes and learned that his home is in New Mexico. He took great care unloading mine and another gentlemen's vehicle both going to the base. For future reference on delivering or picking up any vehicle from Minot. There is a church about one mile north of the main gate. It's perfect for loading and unloading vehicles. My Hyundai arrived in the same condition that I left it, dirty. But none the worse for wear. I was disappointed though, that it took 11 days to be picked up and the fee was re-nogotiated. My suggestion for a growing company is to find more carriers that will except credit card payments. Thank you for working so hard to be a part of the BBB and having a good website it was what persuaded me to choose you over other carriers. My family has asked for your number and I will be happy to give it. Ship a car Inc was informative, allowed the use of a credit card, hired a good driver, my vehicle arrived safe and within a week of pick-up, you are given the carrier's number to communicate drop off day and time, once the day of pick-up was finally arranged the pick up happened in a timely manner. Worked with Larry from Ship a Car a few months ago to ship a vehicle I purchased on the east coast back home to San Diego. Larry was detail-oriented, provided a driver with a fair rate, and picked up the car within the allotted time frame. The car was delivered earlier than expected which was the joy hiccup; as the vehicle was transferred from a tractor-trailer car hauler to a flatbed trailer from LA to San Diego. In doing so the delivery driver was given an incorrect phone number for contacting me. Fortunately, I was home at 10:30 pm to accept delivery. The other issue with this unexpected delivery is I didn't have the cash on hand to satisfy the balance due to the driver. However, a call to his supervisor and the payment was made via credit card. Would definitely recommend this coming and would use it again as they're properly insured as well.

He drove the tractor off the carrier and then took a picture of me on it, said he had never shipped a tractor before! So thanks for the great hook up and service. My dad bought my son a car up in Wisconsin and we needed to get it down to Florida. I did a bunch of research online and found that Ship A Car was part of the Better Business Bureau. They had very good reviews. One thing I liked about them a lot was that they didn't badger me with calls all the time, unlike the other companies that I contacted.   Doug was the rep I had and he was wonderful and had very good communication. My dad lives in the middle of nowhere so we made a decision to add more money to the initial quote so that somebody would pick up the car. The driver was very nice and polite. He took pictures of the car. The car was perfect when it arrived and it was just like it was shipped when it left my dad's house. Everything was wonderful. We had such a good experience that my mother-in-law is using Ship A Car to ship her car out to Arizona at the end of the month.

Riding my motorcycle cross-country from Florida, up to Jasper Canada, and down to California put a hurting on my hands. I was looking to cut out the San Francisco section of our trip and have the bike shipped to Carson City NV. I needed the bike there in two weeks; by the end of September. Two major shippers said they could not get the bike there until October. Then I had the good fortune of connecting with Ship a Car Inc. Steve Goodman handled my request and said they could do it. I was a bit nervous as Steve took a couple of days to arrange transport and call me. But he came through and got the bike transported quicker than I would have expected. Since we were already in San Francisco, I called the shop in Eureka CA where I had left the bike for pick-up. As Steve had said, the bike was transported in an enclosed truck. The shop told me the driver was very professional and took a long time to make sure my bike was loaded and secured properly. I then called the shop in Carson City where the bike was to be delivered. They told me the bike was already there, that the driver had taken great care of my bike, and that he seemed very professional. This was a very difficult time-frame to deal with. This was not a pre-scheduled transportation issue. It was a last-minute decision on my part. The location of the pick-up shop in Eureka CA was only an every two-week area for the two other shippers I had tried. Steve Goodman and Ship a Car Inc came through. They saved our vacation and I am grateful, extremely grateful for the professionalism displayed. I would use their service again. in a heartbeat.

This company is outstanding..VERY honest and straightforward ...at FIRST glance they seem high in price ... but they are not ...they know the market. I dealt with 2 other companies. they quoted much less but could not deliver. Stars and stripes was one of them. could not move my VEHICLE for 12 days This company found me a driver in 1 day ..he delivered 1 day EARLY ..janet ..explained in detail how shipping a vehicle works ..she walked her talk and followed up....very pleased with entire process ..will definitely use again.

I would allow this company to transport my car again I first spoke with Bob, who is a very pleasant, easy to talk to, caring fellow. He goes beyond most companies in trying to find a car transporter for the date needed. He returns calls quickly and stays in touch with updates. I really enjoyed working with him as he's just so pleasant and on top of things.

We used Ship-A-Car to have a grain drill moved from Oklahoma to Wyoming. We dealt with Quinten Putnam, and we were very pleased! If anything, Quinten was too good! He had a driver lined up before our money order had even arrived to the dealer. The driver was one of the nicest men that I've met- he was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. The driver was even willing to show us some tips that the dealer told him. In less than a week, we went from not having chosen a grain drill, to having it dropped off at our place. I would like to thank Joseph and the owner of the company for all their hard work. I would specifically like to thank Joseph for putting up with me and the mess that was created by a driver who was supposed to pick up my car but they decided to cancel literally with less than 24-hour notice when it was time to ship my car. I got really stressed because I needed it to get done since I am moving. However, Joseph really handle the situation with professionalism and made sure my car got shipped the next day, and even got me a better deal because my car is getting to Texas sooner than it was originally going to get there with the first driver. Really great service. Friendly and professional. Cody was a great help. I need a car shipped from Arkansas to Arizona as I was towing another car myself. Called up Ship a Car Inc. and they gave me a quote over the phone. Their quote was more expensive that the instant quotes the you get bombarded with, but they lay everything out for you over the phone and in contract. My car was very well taken care of. Had a great experience. Fernanda was very helpful and easy to communicate with. They picked up my 68 Camaro the very next day. And when it arrived it was just as promised. Thank you and I would most definitely recommend them to anyone needing a vehicle moved.

The first issue I had with this shipment was when the Ship A Car sales rep called after we had agreed and on a price, I signed an order confirmation, paid the deposit by credit card and got a dispatch notice. About an hour later, the sales rep called me back to inform me that the driver wanted $200 more for the transport. At this point, I suppose I should have told him to find another driver, but I was anxious to get the car delivered in a timely manner. The second issue came on the Saturday my vehicle was to be delivered in the morning. I texted the driver who said he would be to my residence (in NY State) that evening and he included a picture of a Google map which included the Shiawasee River. I looked this up and found that it was in Michigan. I understand that you have to be a bit flexible, but later that late afternoon I got another text expressing that they would arrive at 3:00 am Sunday morning and would it be OK to take the delivery then. Again, I suppose I could have postponed delivery, but by this time I just wanted to be through with this process and said OK. They arrived at 4:15 am on Sunday and delivered the vehicle with no damage. It was not the worst experience, but it certainly would not merit a 5 star review.

Rita was great to work with as she made the entire process seamless. Absolute pleasure with work with such a professional company! I was shipping my vehicle from Oakland to Hawaii and although initially working on different timezones was challenging, Rita made it her mission to get my car to Hawaii with virtually no stress on my end. 10/10 recommend. The hallmark of a good company is not if there is ever a problem but HOW they handle the problem. Turns out the problem I had was initially a major pain and hardship to both of us due to the unscrupulousness of the subcontractor. It happens. They figured out how to circumvent a checks and balances process. Ship a Car realized that, changed their process, and took care of the situation. Kudos to them. Now...would ship again in a heartbeat. Thank you all. Ps. When you ship takes well before and after pics. Don't let the shipper driver rush you. It's your multi-thousand dollar possession. Mr Moran helped me ship my 89 Mercedes to Massachusetts from Florida he was very professional and helped me find exactly what I wanted I would not go with any other company. Unless Mr Moran was there he made the process very stress free and easy.
