I have never had a car transported before. I was very nervous about my pick up. Cody G was exceptional at helping me feel comfortable shipping my pick up "Ruby". Cody kept updated on the process. Then the driver Mario from Santiago Transportation was dispatched out to pick up "Ruby". He was so nice and understood how much my "Ruby" means to me. He was driving Ruby from Lawton, Oklahoma to Fountain Hills, Arizona and landed her at the exact time that was scheduled. No problems whatsoever! Best customer service experience!!! I worked with Danny and he helped me with figuring out how we will ship my trailer. At first I asked if we could put the trailer on a trailer I didnt get any responce to that untill the day before shipping it. We had a little hickup but it all worked out in the end. Danny did an awesome job finding the right person to get my trailer to me. The guys who brought my trailer were awesome they put it right where I wanted it. That was no picknick for them. lol. Transport came when agreed upon. There was some trouble before in that where the car originally was, the streets were too narrow for a large car carrier. No big deal, worked out a day before hand and not at the last minute and we got the car to a place where it could be easily picked up. Actually worked out better for us and the carrier. Prompt response to initial contact. Primary contact, Chris, was friendly, courteous, experienced and honest. Initial contact from shipping company was prompt and friendly. Driver contacted me promptly and met all promised phone contacts and meeting points for pickup and drop off. Driver was clean, courteous, friendly and familiar with the drop off point. Driver noted on the contract each blemish as I took pictures of my car. Car was delivered in excellent condition. As was hoped, car was dropped off on the early end of the delivery time spectrum. My experience with Ship A Car Inc was excellent and I would recommend them without hesitation.

This was my first experience with using a transport company for a vehicle, after reading reviews about different companies I was nervous. Bob Moran with Ship A Car had some good reviews so I called him to get a quote. The price was in range with others I had called but I felt more comfortable working with Bob. I called Bob on Friday of Labor day weekend at 4:30pm, he was able to have my vehicle picked up on the following Tuesday in Colorado and delivered to me in Northern Illinois Thursday morning. The driver, Egor, called me Wednesday afternoon and we made arrangements to drop off the vehicle at 6:00am so I could get to work, he was very accommodating to my schedule. I am not one to post any reviews but I felt these guys deserved to be praised. I would definitely use them again.

I used Ship A Car to coordinate transporting a Ford F550 Boom Lift truck from Waxahatchie, Texas to Portland, OR. This was the first time I had purchased an out of state vehicle and was nervous about the process. I shopped online and called around for quotes and found Ship A Car to be the lowest price by far for a fully insured shipment. Justen was courteous and professional, explained the process in full detail, and quickly put my mind at ease. When I had questions, he was always available to take my call, and made the process very simple from start to finish. He even checked in with me while the truck was en-route to make sure the driver was on schedule. I must apologize for not writing sooner, but our move has extremely long and our household just arrived (computers as well). I can't say enough good things about the excellent service we received! He made contact with us and came through as promised on arrival time. He took his time (being a true professional) to make sure that both cars were hooked up nice and tight to ensure no damage would come to them. He took photos of the cars and was very professional and kept in touch with us on his arrival. He was so quick getting our cars to their destination, that he beat us there. He did not complain about having to wait 3 hours, while our plane landed and we made our way over to meet him. The cars were in the same condition as when they left. The dispatcher called my place of business today demanding me to pay his driver. There's one small problem, no one at my business ever hired this company. Next time call the right number for the person / business. Very unprofessional.

Riding my motorcycle cross-country from Florida, up to Jasper Canada, and down to California put a hurting on my hands. I was looking to cut out the San Francisco section of our trip and have the bike shipped to Carson City NV. I needed the bike there in two weeks; by the end of September. Two major shippers said they could not get the bike there until October. Then I had the good fortune of connecting with Ship a Car Inc. Steve Goodman handled my request and said they could do it. I was a bit nervous as Steve took a couple of days to arrange transport and call me. But he came through and got the bike transported quicker than I would have expected. Since we were already in San Francisco, I called the shop in Eureka CA where I had left the bike for pick-up. As Steve had said, the bike was transported in an enclosed truck. The shop told me the driver was very professional and took a long time to make sure my bike was loaded and secured properly. I then called the shop in Carson City where the bike was to be delivered. They told me the bike was already there, that the driver had taken great care of my bike, and that he seemed very professional. This was a very difficult time-frame to deal with. This was not a pre-scheduled transportation issue. It was a last-minute decision on my part. The location of the pick-up shop in Eureka CA was only an every two-week area for the two other shippers I had tried. Steve Goodman and Ship a Car Inc came through. They saved our vacation and I am grateful, extremely grateful for the professionalism displayed. I would use their service again. in a heartbeat.

Their quote was more expensive that the instant quotes the you get bombarded with, but they lay everything out for you over the phone and in contract. My car was very well taken care of. After reading many horrible reviews on other shippers, I was encouraged by SAC's reviews. Everything went as planned and on schedule from pick up to delivery and in the process (I had to make schedule changes), through many phone conversations, I have made a new friend with "my" SAC agent!!! Les is his name and getting the job done is his game! Perfection in service!

The rep who answered the phone was a car person. He explained to me that his dad had lots of cars and he had a Dairy Queen and they parked their cars out front. I’ve always been around race cars and he has a racecar. So, out of all the people I talked to, whoever that rep was, he was the most knowledgeable. He is probably Ship A Car’s best salesman. The car was to be transported to my house and they said it would be here Friday. I was out of town and I was driving back from Fort Worth in the evening on Wednesday, and I get a call. The man said that he would like to drop off my car that night. I said that I was not even at my house and asked how he got down so fast. It was Wednesday. He said not to worry about it and asked if he could drop it off between 7:00 and 8:00.   I got up in the morning and my wife informed me that the sprinkler people were coming. So at 7:15, at least four pickup trucks and about eight guys showed up, and they all parked around our house. And at 7:45, a neighbor, two houses down, was replacing their fence. So, another four trucks showed up with eight guys. And accordingly, I’m going, “Where is this guy?” And sure enough, here he comes with the transport, zigzagging in between all these parked trucks. He asked where he would park. I told him to back it in our cul-de-sac and he did. Then, the local security guard asked if I was moving. I told him I was getting a car delivered. So, he stops. There must be 20 people, all watching. Then the driver asked if I knew how to drive a stick shift. He couldn’t get the car out of the carrier because he couldn’t drive a stick. So I told him I would help him. He’s got two cars in the carrier, mine, which follow in the front, and another car that’s barely turned over. It’s shaking and rattling, and he backs that out. He puts it in neutral and it’s just sitting there idly. He comes back in and gives me the keys. I asked him if he realized how much space there was between the door and the carrier and I couldn't get in the car. He’s a skinny guy so he gets in the car. I told him to wind the window down, get out of the car and let me see if I can hold on the top of the carrier, and I’ll get in like a racecar driver. So, that’s what I did. And the moment I turned on that car, I was in heaven. The sound of that car gave me goosebumps, and I backed it up probably about a half a mile per hour, super slow. I drive around all the cars and I said that I got to inspect this because it was way dustier than what the photo showed. I looked at it and it was perfect. Finally, my wife started talking to the two other people that wanted to talk to me but I said that I gotta get this in the garage and check it out. The driver was gonna leave and once he leaves, if there were any problems, it’s sorry, Charlie. Then, we paid the driver and he was all smiles because it was 1s, 5s, 10s, 20s and 50s. We hadn't had a chance to go to the bank to just give him a 100. And he got in his trailer. It was a very nice experience.

I booked vehicle transport with Ship A car Inc, twice in the past month. The first, the seller cancelled the sale the day that the hauler was scheduled for pick up. YIKES! Contacted Lisa from Ship A Car and she handled everything. I found another BMW K75 for sale, bought it..., and the first call that I made was to Lisa from Ship A Car. Once again, Lisa and Ship A Car Inc. handled everything exceptionally well. Vehicle pick-up and delivery by a company specializing in motorcycle transport. The vehicle arrived earlier than expected (2 days instead of 4) and in perfect condition. Lisa was great at communicating via email and phone (even for a customer that doesn't have an umbilical to his phone.) Would use them again..., in a second!

After another company completely flacked out on my son's car pick up and wasted 3 days lying to me about that the car was going to be picked up the next day.......I called SHip-a-Car and told them I was in a real bind and needed the car picked up ASAP in order for it to get to Florida for the start of my son's job. They got back to me right away and the next evening a carrier was in my town to get the car. It arrived in Florida on time even thought the driver had to deal with a major subtropical storm. Don't fall for the cheaper price that other carriers offer, because at the last minute they will cancel because they cannot find drivers to do it for that price.

Ship A Car was used to facilitate a boat shipment from NJ to Florida. The quote was $1200 and I accepted to get transport within a 2-day window pickup. My ShipaCar rep Paul Sinclair contacted me and stated he had found a driver, but the driver was requesting an additional $50 for pick-up..I agreed to get the boat picked up and remain on schedule. The boat was to be picked up on a Monday or Tuesday and was instead scheduled for a Wednesday pick-up around 1 pm by the driver. Marina owner waited and no one showed or called. Thursday afternoon came and the driver was still a no show and I was contacted by the Marina owner. I contacted my Ship A Car rep and was told he would check with the driver and contact me. No call ever was made back to me by Ship A Car and I ended up contacting the driver myself. He stated he was running late and would be able to pick the boat up first thing Friday morning...I informed the driver I had paid the extra $50 that rep requested from me for the driver to facilitate transport as requested. The driver stated he did not request any $50 increase for shipment as it was posted as $1000 and he had accepted the offer as posted. I contacted Ship A Car, Inc. as the marina owner contacted me stating no one was there Friday morning and had to leave. I received no call back from Ship A Car rep Paul Sinclair as the lady answering the phone told me he would call as soon as he was off the phone with another customer..The driver contacted me around 10:30 am saying he was there and waiting to get the boat. Marina owner arrived and the boat was loaded onto a multi-car vehicle with boat trailer wheels off transport vehicle ramps and being supported by boards under axles and transported. I never received a returned call from Ship A Car rep as I had questions not only of why I was not informed of any shipment delay but also of the driver stating he never asked for the additional $50 amount Paul Sinclair had stated was requested by the driver. Needless to say, Never again will I use this company as they pick a carrier and leave you to deal with any transport issues and possibly lie to get more money from you by blaming transport drivers for up charges. Since I had to constantly intervene and contact the driver myself for answers, I was better off using a self-service company so I could have picked my own carrier and skipped the middle man ShipaCar. Once Ship A Car, Inc. received their $250 deposit I basically was on my own anyway.

The first price is just an estimate, and the extra ~10% added is to have a more competent driver, which I was fine with knowing that they will take extra care for my car. Overall, I was impressed with their work, and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a car mover.
