At the last minute, I needed to help my grandparents ship their car. Without any prior knowledge of this line of business, I had to make a decision with a company I could trust. A friend's recommendation lead me to Ship A Car. I called and spoke to a very nice guy, Justin. He helped me get everything setup for them and made sure all my questions were answered. I was able to rest assured that my grandparent's car was in good hands on it's trip back home.

I was searching for an Auto Transport company to ship my son's car from Lake Forest, IL to San Diego, CA. He is a Marine and stationed there. From start to finish Ship A Car worked with me to quote a very competitive price. They were very patient as I changed the drop off date a few times because it is very difficult to predict my son's schedule. He was beginning his new MOS with the Marines and he had not received his orders for his shift. I changed the drop off again, from Thursday to Friday when he mentioned that Thursdays he had specific duties and would not be able to leave the base to get his car. It was complicated because for obvious reasons, the delivery truck can't simply drive onto the US Military base. So, my son asked if they could drop the car off at a nearby Target close to the base and provided the address and a date and time that he would be allowed to leave the base. Ship A Car worked with me through all of these logistics. They picked up the car when they agreed and dropped it off as agreed, in perfect condition. My Son, thought this was a better deal than buying a new car at this point. My understanding is that the Marines on the base need some form of transportation. And although my son needed a car, he didn't feel he needed to purchase a brand new car at this time. I can't say enough about the wonderful and patient customer service for Ship A Car. Sam L., the main customer service agent with whom I spoke most frequently, was so awesome! He even called me one evening - after I sent an email changing the drop off logistics - yet again - from his cell phone. He was home having dinner and stopped to deal with my issues! The drivers, Jesus and Saul were extremely professional and courteous as well! I give this company an A+!!!! My son called me and asked me for the contact details of Ship A Car because one of his Marine mates said he would like to do the same thingship his car from his home base; also in IL to California. Thank you again Sam and Ship A Car for all you did for my son, my marine, and our military men and women!

I recently purchased a truck for my daughter in NJ and needed it transported to her in Florida. Bob was very easy and pleasant to work with. His price was competitive. The truck arrived (safely) exactly when and where they said it would, and the carrier was dependable and vey responsive. I would definitely use them again, and would recommend to anyone who needs a vehicle transported!

We used Ship-A-Car to have a grain drill moved from Oklahoma to Wyoming. We dealt with Quinten Putnam, and we were very pleased! If anything, Quinten was too good! He had a driver lined up before our money order had even arrived to the dealer. The driver was one of the nicest men that I've met- he was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. The driver was even willing to show us some tips that the dealer told him. In less than a week, we went from not having chosen a grain drill, to having it dropped off at our place. Quinten went the extra mile for us. When we need something else moved, he'll be our man!

Meredith answered all my questions promptly and stayed in contact with me through the process. Her level of professionalism was outstanding given the Florida based company was dealing with hurricane Irma throughout my shipping process. The hallmark of a good company is not if there is ever a problem but HOW they handle the problem. Turns out the problem I had was initially a major pain and hardship to both of us due to the unscrupulousness of the subcontractor. It happens. They figured out how to circumvent a checks and balances process. Ship a Car realized that, changed their process, and took care of the situation. Kudos to them. Now...would ship again in a heartbeat. Thank you all. Ps. When you ship takes well before and after pics. Don't let the shipper driver rush you. It's your multi-thousand dollar possession. Had ship a car schedule a transport of a trailer I needed moved. Kristina was very nice and helpful with my requests and got the trailer to me quickly.
